He was only 13 when he became an orphan. Many worried about him. Nice to hear he is doing well. His parents would be proud.

Dana Reeve died in 2006, two years after Christopher died.

I feel so sad for Dana, who spent years in a difficult position, fighting for her family, supporting everyone, and then she lost Christopher, and her mother and got diagnosed with cancer all in 10 months, and then died 6 months after that at 44 years of age. Tragedy after tragedy, yet in the middle of it she still did a great job raising Will. Dana, you did so well.

According to the media, he lost his father, then is mother and the legal guardian was Chris friend: Robbie Williams - who commited suicide.

Yeah, my friend broke his arm when he was trying to fly like Superman back in the day. He was 10 and now he still has his hook-shaped right arm. But that's okay, he broke his arm doing something he loved, which is being his hero, Superman. Thank you Mr. Reeve for inspiring my friend to break his arm.

Mrs Reeve deserves one of the best spots in heaven, after dedicating herself to caring for her husband and then him dying she died of lung cancer! Never smoked! How sad.

Radon has something to do with a percentage of lung cancer cases, too. You may have grown up in a home with radon, and you would never know it. Later in life you get cancer, and it's difficult to trace back to radon exposure.
Not only smoke but also processed meat (sausages etc.) has been linked to lung cancer. Now doctors can tell where the cancer came from by checking the cells of the organs affected.

What a handsome son, he looks a lot like his dad. What a tough go the kids have had, heartbreaking, but what a nice guy.
I noticed how his smile (especially on the right side of his face), looks like his dad is smiling through him. Such a tragedy for him to become an orphan within a very short space of time. Blessings to him and his siblings.
This young man is a testament to the wonderful job his parents did raising him. They are looking down from heaven with pride in their hearts.

Yeah Dana was the reason Chris didn't give him, he thought maybe I should die in the hospital, but she gave him the strength to carry on. It's sad, but alot of people end up married to someone who would walk away in the face of such life altering injuries like that, but she would've died before she left him, and he would've done the same for her. Those kids just lucked out getting the two most amazing parents possible.
Dana grew up with my sons’ father. I went to their high school reunion and I got to meet Christopher. He was such an optimistic person. He did believe he would walk again. I talked with him for a while. He was a beautiful soul. Dana was a high energy, positive and truly caring force. She was a special lady. May they both Rest In Peace. ❤️🙏
I can relate, my dad was paralysed by an accident when I was 8. It was just the norm to help out, hang out and go about with the chair. I loved him for his mind and intelligence not for his legs. He died at 40. Thank you for sharing.

He's wholesome. There are a lot of people like that. He was raised well, he didn't blow off/waste school so he's educated, has hasn't done drugs, and has family and friends who are supportive and kind. As a result, he has excellent emotional health, some wisdom, has a clear mind and he's not cynical.

Over the years I wondered what happened to this boy and now he's an amazing man. That's because his parents were both loving, superlative people.
What a wonderful young man! He is an inspiration.
He's remarkably grounded. So tragic to lose both parents who died way before their time.
A much more stable man than Harry who lost his mother but still had his father and a lot of family to support him. He did his parents proud, good man.
He has the same personality as his dad, the way he talks, the words, the rhythm, also his positive attitude, its very sad that Chris and Dana are gone but what a blessing it is to have Will Reeve. I hope he pursues a career in acting. He is following in his father's footsteps so far but in reverse order. Will is an activist and perhaps someday he'll become an actor.

How wonderful to hear a child that saw the good in his parents and not see the things missing. Great parents produced a terrific positive character and thy are proud of you. So many children today see the negative, after all parents are also just humans so make the best out of your circumstances and if it’s not what you like make your life better and don’t repeat the things you didn’t enjoy

my dad also met the most terrible accident of his life. a bus went over him. he has a brachial plexus pain...since then he has brachial plexus nerve pain 24/7...
He is my true superman...mannn I pray for all the people in the world who are in problem and pain, a very healthy and happy life ameen...

I felt so terrible when Will’s mother died, leaving him without either parent. I thought boy, is he going to be a troubled young man. Instead, he demonstrates the optimism and determination of both his mom and dad. What an awesome guy!

Christopher Reeve was a true superman. I remember when I was a little kid how much I admired him. Now I admire him even more. His son speaks and there is so peace and happiness in the tone of his voice. What a wonderful family. When your father suffered the accident, from that moment on he has been teaching me how to fly.
