Christmas Series 2022 (3 of 6) Arr. I really like these Swedes- cool costumes and fun old-timey instruments aside, if you join a pirate folk band (and especially if you’re going to be splitting the money among 30 members) you’ve gotta be in it for the joy. I sent a live video of one of their Christmas parodies last year, but here’s a fever dream of a music video of another one (both of which are featured on last year’s Christmas album, “A Pirate Stole My Christmas”). Magda isn’t lead or co-vocals on this one as she has been in past requests, but you can see her as the Virgin Mary in the voodoo nativity crèche (I believe I may be coining a term there) and also hear her a bit in the chorus and probably on synth and lute in the actual mix.
