I feel Dez, for as many games that Sean Lee missed and he's still a Cowboy. So miss me with that production mess. Dallas ultimately messed up the Cowboys the last few years. If Dez and Witten were in Dak's ear so tough, that means Dak wasn't ready to lead that team. They let Romo go too soon and that was a money decision.

I think there is definitely something to be said about Dak coming into the picture and Dez's numbers declining. There are several videos that go over every one of Dez's dropped passes, and it definitely seems, to me at least, that Dak is to blame for a lot of them. Throwing in traffic/across the middle and Dez not wanting to get absolutely annihilated.

Objectively speaking, there has been a drop off in dez's production. However, not all his targets are catchable. Some are throwaways in his direction, some are just the result of having a young qb who sometimes loses his mechanics when under pressure. Dez had 900 yards on a run first ball control offense. There arent a lot of passing yards to go around and even when Romo was qb in 2014, his yardage wasnt as high as other receivers. He just had a lot of tds because he would get red zone targets. As for his route running, does anyone at fs1 ever show him the film of the week 1 giants game? He beat Jenkins several times for what could easily have been a 150 yard 3 td game. Dak was off though until about the halfway point of the Arizona game. Then he started playing better and dez's numbers improved. When the offense struggled with the injuries and elliott suspension, his numbers dropped again. He deserves a good amount of blame for the seahawks game and he needs to calm himself down and not embarrass his team, but tape would show he can still play. Tired of the led the league in drops lie and them saying all these corners say he is easy to defend when they are all from Washington or Philadelphia.
