In this video we discuss useful guns that can be had for typically under $200 up to around $250. This video is meant to showcase the somewhat overlooked and underrated guns that people brush to the side because they are not tacticool or something you want to tell your buddies about. They will however fire when you need them to and do the job at hand as long as you know the limitations of the fireram. We hope you enjoy.

Definitely gotta have that mosin!
Amen
Arm your friends and familys, I want to buy a couple crates of the beauties!
mytmousemalibu Probably should get on that, I don't see many crates any more, and not usually for a good price. That is a supply that's drying up.
mytmousemalibu check GunBroker. There is a guy in Richmond, VA, named Russ who has 'em every so often. Last I checked he was getting $3000 to $3500 per crate. Shipping'll cost you an add'l $500-1000 unless you drive up there and pick 'em up. Also, crates now are generally comprised of counterbored '41-'44 round receiver models with an occasional hex thrown in.
Always thought guns were expensive, but damn I just bought a 400 euro graphics card, when in the US I could have bought 2 mosins =O. Enjoy your second amendement !
3 mosin and a lot of ammo 400 euro=500USD
*544USD lol
We will and you can too become one of us
Considering you use euros and not pounds, you live on mainland Europe. Another county on the mainland is San Marino. I'm pretty sure they have the loosest gun laws in the world.
Trust me I enjoy it..
let me save you some time

Lol why no Ruger 10 22
aww I miss Barry. RIP.
He died!!!!!!?????😪
+Chua Gaming Im sorry to have you find out this bluntly. Yes He died
How did he die
I think he had a heart attack.
Dave Russell your right he did but man that majestic beard of his
Black Friday Sales I Got Last Year.
$169 brand new Mossberg / Maverick 88 12 gauge pump shotgun
$125 brand new Marlin 795 semi auto 22LR rifle
I got 2 Mosin nagants at big 5 for $109 each on BF 2012. Also got a Anderson lower for $59 at a local grand opening sale plus a Stevens 320 security 12gauge for $99! If your patient and opportunistic, you can get some great deals.
Lol 22LR ammo is worth more than the gun
Mossberg Model 88's are sweet! Got one used on Craigslist for $100 bucks! Works just as good as my Mossberg 590.
Sayer Evans
I'm glad I bought a dozen bulk packs of 22 LR when they were on sale for $14.99 about 3 or 4 years ago. When that runs out at least I can cast my own lead 9mm bullets for 5 cents a shot. That'll be my new plinking ammo.
Prepare2Survive No doubt. I just started reloading & I have done 200 9mm with jacketed bullets so far.( I don't have powder) It takes a few $ to get started but I got a Lee bottom pour pot, molds & everything. When I can find powder I will be able to make 9mm for, exactly like you said, about 5 cents a piece. Maybe a bit more depending on powder & primers but it's still really inexpensive & 9m is more fun than .22 any way you slice it.
Budget guns...
It costs the Russian government $165 per AK-74.
+Pilotmario there's no way 165$ even with all the inflation is worth an estimated 10,714 rubles. and the AK-74 is almost egsactly the AK-47 difference is it shoots the 5.45 instead of the 7.62
+jizzanthapuss maammarata yes way look it up
***** were talking about prices not effective range, which btw the AK is accurate up too 700m with a trained marksman. its not as bad as the video games make it out too be.
***** the only thing the M16's/M4's had going for them was the lightness of the gun. and the lack of recoil which really doesn't have as much to do with the gun as it does with the caliber. and I head countless stries of vets that would pickup AK's and use them cause their guns would constantly jam as with and AK they ouldnt have to wory about it. you can even shoot it from underwater. just because it didn't seam that great in cod doesn't mean its bad in real life.
+jizzanthapuss maammarata I remember how in the field, AKs would be shot the hell out of, rarely cleaned, then the barrel cleaned with a rope soaked in kerosene and then the rifle rubbed glen with used motor oil... Incredible rifles
I wish Mosins were still inexpensive. Nowadays they all seem to be 350 and up
Pretty cheap
@@Kevingarcia-lv2wm I won't disagree (mostly) but you used to be able to buy one for $100.
@@johnr.timmers2297 I feel when it moved to 350 it puts it in a space to have to compete with other options that it might not hold up to.
Yeah, thats what really irritates me. It's rare to find any Mosin or SKS under 300 bucks, and as far as I know, you can forget finding an SMLE or any kind of Enfield for under 500 bucks.
in Mexico a gun like that would cost you a thousand dollars
Glad you guys pushed the shotgun. That is always the option I refer newbies to. Simply can't beat them for versatility.
I love versatility.
+Amasushuky (Amas) *Ha Gaaayyy*
I know it's not really a gun, but a very good option for someone who just wants to have fun shooting or plinking scrap bottles and cans is a Recurve Bow. A Samick Sage goes for only $140 with about $5 per arrow. Things to consider:
-You can reuse your arrows, saving ammo costs.
-You can get Sage's in up to 55 pounds of draw weight - more than adequate enough to deliver enough power to consistently get ethical kills on almost all game within 25m.
-You can easily interchange tips on arrows for different purposes giving you modularity.
-In survival SHTF scenarios, you can craft improvised arrows from nature.
-They are silent, meaning you don't need to invest in good quality hearing protection unlike a bow.
-There's a unique badass Robin Hood and Katniss Everdeen feel to shooting a Recurve Bow that firearms can't reproduce.
If you ever redo this sort of video, a recurve bow at least deserves special mention.
Honestly you can a make a sling bow for less than $40
if you know how to make crossbow is not even hard and it's not expansive as well. as long if you know your tools and measuring it's not that hard to do it at home just to use small games or maybe big games. but if you are not the type to use for hunting then use it for self-defense and have a baseball bat or tools that you can weld as a weapon can be helpful. you will have less worries about about having a bullet through your wall and you won't know where it ends out on the other side.
You know what's cheaper than that? Bladed weapons. Both thrown and hand held.
+David Duncan you know what's cheaper than that? Mastering the force.
+Just a Black Dude You know what is cheaper than that? My left nut. lol
Great choices!
Oh great, as if I needed an excuse to buy yet another Mosin! :P Great video, guys.
What happened to Barry?
***** He passed away.
That sucks, he seemed like a fun guy.
***** Yeah, everybody will miss him.
MyHollowpoint Straight ahead no nonsense tell it like it is barry.....Much respect for that man.....miss him terribly.
This channel is so wholesome. Thanks for all the advice and entertainment!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
You know at first, I wasn't a big fan of Ray. But having watched him in some of the more recent videos, that has changed. He may not be the most excited person in the world to listen to, but I can tell this soft spoken lumberjack knows his stuff. Keep it up Ray!!
Awesome video again guys. Really love how you incorporated the AR lower in there. A lot of people don't know that you can buy those piece by piece. Excellent video. RIP to Barry.
i've got one of those H&R's. it came with a .410 and a .22 barrel. it also came packed in a survival bag with a survivalist book. it's pretty awesome.
A mosin is an excellent choice for any budget! Cheap 7.62x54r ammo, who cares if you use and abuse the rifle, and they shoot pretty good, generally. Love the videos guys!
Took me the entire vido to see the M107a1 hanging from the roof
I didn't even see it until I seen your comment lol

I just stumbled across your channel today & wanted to say THANK YOU for putting this video together! Too many times you see videos saying the only gun you need is an AR or AK or SKS. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket then sure. But, as others here have said, most of us do not & are looking for good, reliable firearms that won't break the bank. You presented logical, rational choices for everyone from novice to pro/expert to consider. Again, THANK YOU!!!
Great job love your videos very informative as always. Keep them coming
Thanks I live in Australia and I brought a Barrett 50 cal for $1250
i truelly miss Barry. he was my gun guru papy
Oscar Alma I do, too. Barry had a special personality that allowed him to connect with the viewers. He was like an uncle that would advise us on how to protect ourselves and our families. May he rest in peace.
I just love rewatching theses videos I never get bored of them
Not sure if you guys respond to comments, but i'd love a updated for 2015 budget guns.

Barry you shall be forever missed!! It's still an informative fun channel but man Barry added some personality you just can't replace!
There are a couple of other models too like Hi point and their 100% moneyback guarntee no questions asked. That warranty covers the gun not the owner so it does'nt matter if you are the 1st or 50th owner. and the performance of the Hi point is good. all the handguns can be had for less then $200
we did some performance tests on a few and are doing a series!!!
Y'all's vids are the best. So informative!!!
Great video guys.. Keep up the great work..
My family has had two Mosins for over 30 years. Those guns are really built to last. They have survived the most torture by far out of any gun I have ever had and I have yet to have one malfunction EVER with the Mosin. I bought a third one for a friend and it only cost 110$. For a gun that cheap that is forever reliable and very customizable I don't think there is a better gun out there. Oh yeah and you can also buy 440 round spam cans for like 80 dollars. Beat that :D
Zastava M70A Tokarev - $200 Russian 1911 as reviewed by Nutnfancy (after the review, the price immediately increased to $240) . . maybe still somewhere for $200
lol. just bought one for fun at a gun show last sunday for 200$....loving it so far.
Russian 1911? What the fuck am I reading? It's a Serbian TT in 9x19mm.
kefefs You are right. Zavasta manufactured and still does produce Soviet designed guns such as the SKS and AK. The former Soviet Union was their biggest customer. But the Tokarev is completely Serbian.
I love my M70a, I just wish they had magazines for it. Got mine for $250 off of Bud's Gun Shop. Used to own the original 7.62x25 version also.
***** ive seen them in the 250 range for the 9x18 at gun shows
thats some good stuff guys, keep it up!
I have watched this video several times, and I'm glad you guys make videos like these.
I think I'll start the search for a kel-tec pf9, and have it as a back up pistol, in an ankle holster.
Thanks guys.
what can I get for $100?
*gets handed an airsoft pistol*
+higbey the demon Hey, at least you can blind your enemy by shooting bb's at his eyes. lol
+higbey the demon dude just go to a pawn shop i see lots of guns ranging from 89 dollars to 2000 dollars
kolten wylam $89 gun sounds like a good way to get a gun that fires once ever 3 rounds or blows up in my hand.
if your at a shit shop
+That Condom You Didnt Use Last Night your average home invader wears full tactical operator gear so he would be wearing a full face mask lol
Hit up your local pawn shops 2-3 times a week. Some shops deal a lot of guns a week. Become a frequent visitor, get to know the guys or at least make your face known. Pawn shops have high sticker prices but you can sometimes get a substantial discount for paying cash, especially if you're a frequent visitor.Dont be afraid to haggle respectfully.
i like your editing.. great video, no bs..
Thankyou for adding the h&r topper. Great guns
Everyone talks trash on Kel Tec but the P9 and P11 are reliable as hell, small, and super lightweight
not to mention you can literally set it on fire, call customer service and get any parts you need no questions asked. one of the best warranties
+JAKE WHITE Que?
Jarod Roach p11 has a horrible trigger
Kel etc is nice when you need a very small carry pistol where you really don't want people to even maybe think that u have a gun
Jarod Roach sub 2000, nuff said.
The .50 cal above them is thinking, "You pitiful things, bow before me."
always wonderful videos !!
I am so happy that y'all included the AR-15 receiver so others who don't know that it can be done. I had a friend who had built one and I have all ways wanted one but $800+ and one time was a no go. So when I found out about building one I dove right in. My first piece was the lower. I got a Palmetto State Armory lower. It was a complete magpul moe edition. It was a blemished one for 185. (The only mark I could find that may have made it a so called blemished one is not shown when the gun is together) after around 3 months I had a completed 11.5 in ar-15 pistol with free floated barrel for $612 that's including the 20 transfer fee.
Glad to see inexpensive guns made in the USA, not overseas.
Dang I miss the Bear. Rest in piece man.
I got a Taurus .380 TCP. Lifetime warranty. $170 at local gun shop; $154 about 70-80 miles away (couldn't drive there and back for that much of a difference). Two features not common to .380s: a hammer and a slide lock. Of course, the local Cabela's store wanted about twice that... I sprung for a Crimson Trace laser sight for low light and quick target acquisition. I put Garrison grip extenders on the mags, so my pinkie finger had a place to go. I have two holsters. One is a Tagua leather, thumb break holster that is great for hiking and both concealed and open carry. Although with the size of the gun, you can't really speed draw. The other is a pocket sticky holster. A micro trigger holster is a piece of rubber that fits behind the trigger, preventing accidents when drawing or snags. You simply push it out with your trigger finger (pops out quickly). I initially had some problems with rounds jamming. Taurus sent me a complimentary mag as a goodwill jesture. After a good cleaning and oiling, it was fine. The new (refurbished) mag must have had a small compression on it--the 2nd round stuck and prevented the mag from loading. I called them and they sent another one--this time a brand new one. Anyway, after I got the replacement one, I got to fiddling with the first reconditioned one and it seems to feed o.k. now (haven't actually shot it yet). It will be for target practice and not carry, just to be safe. So far, Taurus has really won me over with their prices and customer service. If anybody is in south central or western Kentucky, Sherwood's Guns in Bowling Green has amazingly low prices and a tremendous inventory. The local range/dealer/gunsmith/custom manufacturer--Walker Arms--is one of the best gun ranges in the country and is cutting edge on technology. Anyway, it's a lower end gun worth checking out. It isn't a Glock, Sig S&W or other big dog company in regard to .380 semis. And a mouse gun won't compete with a .357, but it also doesn't pull my shorts down to my knees in the summer.
Excellent video, thanks for upload.
Oh my God!!!!! I havent been on your channel for a while and I just learned that Barry passed, this is truly saddening. RIP Barry.
I friggen love the Mosin, but I'm actually surprised to see the Cricket here. I guess just because I always find them in pink, I figured they were little kid training rifles. I might pick one up, just for a cheap plinking rifle.
This show is nice cause its very natural, they talk friendly and somethimes having some humor, i like it, keep it up dudes :)
Thanks for the educational and great video.
Also, Hi-Point pistols and carbines are awesome, and good prices too. They also have an unlimited warranty and will fix anything that happens to it. My fiance and I got a .45 handgun used in good condition for $100 at a pawn shop. At the same pawnshop he bought me a used Rock Island Armory .38 Special revolver for myself for $200. Definitely recommend both guns, but especially checking out various pawnshops. Never know what you'll find.
you should do a video for 5 guns for wheelchair handicap
Not a big enough audience but if your looking a glock
+Jake Birkmaier lol glock?
yes. I'm a paraplegic & in the market now for a good conceal carry.

Thank y'all ! Very helpful for a beginner.
Love the Barry throw back.!! Keep it up boys.!
kinda wish i lived in murica.
I honestly love this part of the firearm community.

Simple. Do not comply.
I love your videos . I'm excited to do my firearms safety course which is the hardest step in getting my license here in Ontario Canada . Cheers!
I loved this video! I had been done research on cheap guns and loved the kel tech 9mm pistol & the single shot, shotgun. I love that rifle too. And I don't live far from Jonesboro, Georgia
the best universal firearm around $200 is a maverick 88, maybe the asi 12ga shotguns.
Got one used for $100 bucks on Craigslist! Holds up just as good as my Mossberg 590 :)
I agree
ManlyTexan i didn't think C-list allowed gun sales...what gives, did I miss sumfin?
ManlyTexan I coulda sworn that selling guns on craigslist was banned
armslist is craigslist for guns, but you could probably get a gun on craigslist for about an hour or 2 before they take it off.
Fuck that.. I'ma take that $200 bucks, go work the streets, and buy a few of those ARs back there.
then go to jail do it legal you can enjoy them then
+Colton Jones too dense for sarcasm?
Awww, just go to the gunshow and buy it through one of them _loopholes_...
adamthestimator
lmao I laugh so hard when someone suggests you can buy a new gun from a licensed gun dealer without a background check
So many comedians
only 2, he's good
Glad to see the videos coming out. Many of us will continue to miss Barry, but I'm sure he'd want the show Togo on. I'm sure Ray's a great guy and we'll all get to know him better as time goes on.
you guys are the best! love your videos!
I'm surprised you didn't mention Hi-Point
As am I...as am I...
the ghost of Barry haha Eric we still miss our Barry
Love these guys
that single shot shotgun and the mosin are the best investments, the cricket is interesting however especially if you can put a suppressor on it.
In the UK if you can find someone who's not going to renew their license you can usually get their gun really cheap (often under £50).
So basically, get a gun ILLEGALLY?
th3d3storoy3r No, it's perfectly legal if you do it through a registered gun dealer.
Yeah they they sell super low sometimes as its better to get £50 than to have it destroyed or surrendered for £0
You pretty much an't own firearms in UK...
Martin Benek I own guns and live in the UK. In fact I live in Scotland (the country with the strictest gun control in the UK) and I can still perfectly legally own firearms.
You can go to Dicks Sporting Goods and a get a Savage Mark II .22 bolt action with a scope for $199.99. I'm very happy with mine.
Had a savage 12ga. Never had an issue either cost a lil over 200 bucks with tax
First thing i thought of when i saw that skit in the beginning was Barry! Good job guys!
Do more on the 5 guns for the budget minded, go just a tad higher on price. Love to see the High-Point Suit again! Awesome video
You Guy Are The Best!!! Thank You!!!
Scottie U.S.M.C.
I miss Barry... :(
Seven+ years later... Mosins (and the SKS) prices have continued to skyrocketed!
first time seeing your videos, loved the intro.
Is it hard to find enough ammo for the Mosin Nagant in the USA?
7.62*54R? No, it's relatively easy to find in many sporting goods stores in the States.
They still manufacture it. It is one of the most easily found calibers. I picked up a moisin just for that reason
OHHHH NO i just picked up close to 1000 rounds for $200 ... im looking out the window every 30 minutes waiting to see the UPS truck
LOL I know what you're talking about. ;-)
UPS truck came yesterday... 880rds of Russian surplus... I now have 880rds of Surp, 1000rds of Brown Bear 203gr 20 rds of new production incendiary and 50 rds of Silver Bear FMJ.... Plus stripper clips for every last round..... I think I'm good for awhile XD
Kel-Tek has a HORRID rap on them. I intend to get a Hi-Point 9mm pistol mainly due to affordability and that their magazines are interchangeable with their 9mm carbines meaning i'll be able to get higher capacity from the get-go since i already have one of the carbines.
Slow down buddy. The hi point carbine 9mm will not fit there 9mm hand gun. It only works with the larger calibers.
the hi-point 9mm carbine shoots the same 9mm rounds and like their handguns, their mags are single-stack the difference is the mag capacity, the carbine's standard of 15 and the handgun's standard of 8
I don't know where you're getting your information. The hi point 9mm carbine holds 10 rounds max.
i must have used a larger-than-standard capacity mag then because the one i used had a 15 round cap.
Kel-tek p3at and sub-2k are excellent guns. If you think keltek are crap you have not shot them. Small light and reliable.
good video fellows especially for the youngsters starting out with part-time jobs and school. thanks
Great video!
never really understood why people care about the cosmetic problems when buying home defense guns. if you are the type of person constantly showing off or flashing your gun to people, you probably aren't mature enough to be handling one.
+Chase Lohmeyer Hehehe.... I seen whatcha did there......
You never take any friends or relatives to the range?
+higbey the demon this is nothing wrong showing the craftsmanship of your guns to your friends and family as compared to theirs guns during a hunt .it's like appreciating the difference and accuracy of the guns. Maturity for handling guns depends on the laws of a country with regard to owning firearms not about your opinion about how you think about guns. i have never seen anyone who owns a gun going around showing it off to everyone everywhere. Again reviewing a gun on youtube is not flashing your gun to people. i often show my guns to my friends but not to everyone who visits my house is that flashing my gun.
+bakani baleni U.S. govt. Shows off it's gun collection all the time.
David Duncan thats a combination of rattling the saber, showing off military might to other countries and enemies, and because those weapons that aren't kept classified are normally shown in the news because of excitement/science/fearmongering.
You mentioned a "you fix it" pile to order out of.
Is there anything like that online that is still open and available?
Love the "5" vids. Very nice list here. I would opt for the pardner pump for the 12 gauge, but that's just me.
I appreciate that you brought up the lower receiver option. I feel that same way about the Mosin, actually. People talk about how dumb it is to wind up spending $400 on a Mosin when the rifle itself only cost $100 to begin with, but what I like about my Mosin is that I only had that $100 when I started. Sure, I could get a lower end Remmington, a nice Savage Axis, etc, for the total cost, but I was able to have something to practice shooting with long before the finished product ever materialized.
Man remember when mosins weren’t $400+?
couple of great budget guns in canada are the sks, 10/22 and the svt-40
SVT40's are BUDGET GUNS?!?!? Here they run $1200+ anywhere you go.
You can readily find an SVT-40 up there?
yeah, they run about 300.00
Dang. I want one now. They're really hard to get in 'Merica. What are your laws concerning international purchasing?
no idea, never tried buying a rifle from the states, it'd be better to check with your FFL or local police station
I love my Mosins!!!! I have seen the Mighty Mosin featured on your channel many many times!!
Ray seems like a really cool guy with an unbelievable amount of firearm knowledge.
Lmao that was the weirdest intro I've seen all day
I didn't see the kar 98 k
that gun is pricey
+Alexander De la cruz
Depends on your country. As a hunter I can buy a K98 made by Mauser for no more than a few hundred dollars. It's still not cheap, but not like custom SIG's, STI's or H&K's.
+Alexander De la cruz
Forgot to mention I live in Denmark, so we have a fair amount of old surplus K98's from WWII.
+Jensen Zack oh okay that explains it. here in texas they run for about the 500 mark i mean to me thats not alot really i just havent come around to looking for one im stuck on a m1 garand kar98 mosin or a old p08 luger which is very pricey here about 1000 on up. i mean ive dished out that money on a fnx45 tactical pistol but i got other stuff to pay on like a scar 17 my god that gun will put me on the street someday
Umm, right... They obviously range in prices but unless youre talking about the low end guns (Turkish/yugo m48) theyre definitely not budget guns. Have you seen prices for a matching&correct K98 in the states? I saw an original pre-war Sauer go for 1500!
Thanks for this video it did really help me out with a gun to buy thanks a lot
I am fairly new to this channel. Barry seemed like a good dude rip sir. I loved your knowledge. You were the reason I joined the channel.
anyone else notice the german camo?
I did

How to buy a Mosin:
1. Buy a Mauser.
Eric and Ray, now this is one if the very BEST videos I have seen! Most of us aren't old Jerry. We just like guns, like to shoot, and ain't rich! I'm a bit of a gun nut, but I'm also a fishing nut, family nut, boat nut, truck nut, y'all get it. I have everything I need now except a decent concealed gun. I love quality, but that Keltec seems to have your approval, so I'll be checking it out!
Thanks a lot!!
Being a young man (21yrs old) like myself with longer hair then normal I tend to be judged by most gun shop workers and It bugs me because i want to buy locally and support the businesses in my city but they make it hard when I'm treated differently. Its hard asking a pawn shop owner now a days if they have a used AK laying around, all they think Is I'm going to go shooting up the town or something when Im just a young enthusiast. I love watching the channel you guys are the most down to earth people I know and I appreciate the honesty in every video. Thanks guys.
I am amazed there's no C9
i was able to haggle a python off my neighbor for 200 bucks!!!!
oh i was talking about a real snake...lmao
oscar rodriguez isn't that illegal to have?
I wish we'd see more of Ray in recent episodes. He seems like a knowledgeable dude and he's easy to listen to.
And I for one wish he did more gunsmith vids. Ive watched his a couple times over.
Great video. I've got a few comments to add.
First, on the Mosin Nagant, Classic Firearms has these all the time. Sometimes on sale for as low as $99 on up to $129. If you want them to hand select what they consider a good one then expect to pay a little bit extra, usually about $10-20.
Second, on the Topper. Check your local pawn shops. Check them frequently. I did and I'm glad I did. About Thanksgiving I found what is called a CBC 12 gauge from the 70's very similar to the Topper shown in this video and it is in really great shape. They initially wanted $119 plus 8.25% sales tax. I negotiated that down to $100 out the door.
Third, on the Crickett. They did say the range was about $200-250. If you look hard enough, especially at store sales ads, you can find a brand new Ruger 10/22 for below $250. The 10/22 comes with a single 10 round rotary magazine. You can get the Ruger BX-25 25 round magazine at AGS Armament for $19.95 each, a price that will not be easy to beat anywhere else.
Fourth, on the stripped lower receiver. I concur with these guys. Get one or two or even three. Do your research though. You can find great deals on these now. Palmetto State Armory has what they call "blemished" lowers for $59 all the time. I've purchased some of these. I've yet to find any actual blemishes. They are an excellent investment. When buying parts, do your research. Get quality parts from quality places. Look at the reviews. Find out what various things mean like HPT and MPI and how often they are used., What exactly does the twist rate mean with an AR. Etc. Do the research. Just buying parts from Palmetto you can easily put together a full AR minus the optic for about $520 and it will be a very good quality AR. They do have a nice Vortex Strikefire optic for about $100. They also have some decent prices on ammo.
200...i wish for a mosin now try 500 minimum
FOR THOSE WHO VIEW THIS IN 2019!
DO.NOT.BUY.A.CRICKET.22!
They are NOTORIOUS for going off accidentally.
Not 3 years ago in Strong, AR a young boy went out to hunt squirrel with his cricket and never came home. He fell off a pile of rocks and dropped his cricket and the impact from the rifle butt hitting the ground caused it to go off and hit him in the head.
There are many other cases of this kind of thing happening however this is just the one that happened closest to me.
If you dont believe me, find a cricket 22, clear it, pull the charge back and drop it from approx. 1 1/2 feet off the ground. I guarantee you will hear a small click and when you pick the rifle back up, the action will have gone off. If you had a round in it, it would have fired.
DO NOT BUY A CRICKET! The ONLY .22 single shot I would personally trust in ANY situation would be one with an action lock that can only be opened by a key. They are only a bit more expensive but safety is key when it comes to these kinds of things
Klosteinmann because they are everywhere easy to skin and good
I just bought a gun for $200 that was made from 1987-1992 the Ruger P85. My P85 was made in 1990. This gun was also apart of the DoD (Department of Defense) trials in the 80's when the U.S. military was switching from the Colt 1911. Now we all know that the U.S. went with the Beretta 92 or M9. But the Ruger P85 has been overlooked for a long time and I really want to see you guys review it. It's kinda big and bulky and it definitely won't win any beauty contest but I'm shooting paper plates at 75+ yards and it will eat any type of ammo you put in it +p, +p+, jhp, fmj hp, ANYTHING. They are not a real common gun but if you can get your hands on one try it please it's quite impressive.
Eric, you guys at Moss just plain make excellent videos, clear, concise, very knowledgeable, enjoyable to watch, honest, l really can't think of anything lacking. You don't preach, boast, lecture, nor swear too much to make your point, and I like your timely and well presented intelligent ideas on the attacks of the 2nd Amendment, and the rest of the constitution. Keep it up, and thanks!
