The best solution is to unlock the bootloader and flash the Global ROM

The only benefit to have Global ROM, you don't have to re-install google every time you factory reset the phone, and the multi-language. No chinese bloatware at all.

Does Netflix, banking apps and wireless payment work on the China version with its chinese rom? I'm not in China by the way.

Hi great video, I have a CN version of mi11 ultra and google service and gpay is important to me also Netflix etc.. what is my best option .. install xiaomi eu weekly or stable ? Or should I just delete the CN apps and follow your install of google in this video ?
I would recommend the Xiaomi.eu ROM which has google playstore and safetynet pass for apps like Netflix

No, it is not possible. your only option is to flash the Global ROM
You can if you use a third party launcher like Nova prime but at the expence of using gestures.

If you get the official Global version, you won't have any issues. All the google apps, banking ...etc works no problem. However if you get the Chinese version, you will have to install google playstore and some apps might night work until you have safetynet pass, or flash the Xiaomi.eu ROM instead.

Sound like xiaomi have blocked google playstore in your region. Try using a VPN and it will show

Depending on your location, you either need to use a VPN in order to install GMS or use Google installer instead

You can unlock the bootloader then Flash the official Global ROM which should work fine

Since the phone is running the Chinese ROM, you cannot restore back up from google unless you flash the global ROM

Chinese Version only has English and Chinese, Some Apps cannot be removed as they are system apps

Once you unlock the bootloader, some apps won't run properly like Banking Apps.

It depend on your preference, alternatively you can flash the ROM from Xiaomi.eu forum which is based on the Chinese version.

Not working on CC9 running MIUI 12.5.3 Chinese ROM, as a matter of fact there is no more Playstore to get from the MI App Store and the one on the alternative store to choose at the bottom of App Search how a hit which used to work but doesn't help much in the latest MIUI Update ;( But "TTA GAPP APK" might help. DYOR !

In order to Flash the Global ROM you have to unlock the bootloader which can take 7 days based on your account and region. then once unlocked you are free to flash the ROM on the same day. if you don't get the Google app from the Mi Getapp try using a VPN and connect to UK or EU

Please note that i have succeeded to unlock the phone but when downloading (xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11_V12.5.7.0.RKBCNXM_v12-11-fastboot) and double clicking on (windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format) the black screen show for instance then disapear.

I love this phone and I hate this phone... So far I've spent all afternoon installing several Google apps and I finally got it to accept Chrome, but all widgets are still in Chinese and the Google search bar is nowhere to be found in widgets although I've changed the search engine to Chrome. It also won't accept my Google account completely and keeps going back to add-account, and once I do again, I am told the account already exist on the phone... Very frustrating to say the least, and I obviously have the Chinese version.
