This rescue puppy hid under the furniture from her new parents, but they took things one day at a time until...

Earning the trust of an abused animal is the greatest honour and joy I’ve experienced - well done! ❤
Same here.
EXACTLY!!!! They Earned, her TRUST!!! Such a Gift, and lesson in loving unconditionally ❤❤❤
And you have to accept them for where they are. Always.I adopted a "Senior" dog who wasn't abused per se...or so it appeared...but neglected. She wanted to be near me and was protective, but wasn't big into lots of affection or pats or laying on me. Nothing. But f I was sitting on the couch, she'd walk over to my legs and lean into me. Then I knew she wanted some petting. Never a "kisser" either. I adopted her to be a companion for my other dog, but their personalities were so different it just didn't happen. Every once in awhile I'd catch them laying next to each other on my bed though. That made me happy.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you wish I could hug you all ❤
Love, patience and understanding can make miracles 💛
Not only in animals but
Humans also 💯🤗
Yes the hardest one is patience because we just want to snuggle with them.
AMEN🙏❤
So sweet to see her happy and thriving.
❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏👍👍👍🤝
She knew she was safe. Beautiful
Thank you for love and patience ❤
Her pent up."ZOOMIES" came out! Thank you for not giving up on her. She is living her best life with you!❤😊
She felt safe and secure. I just love this
I cant imagine what trauma shes been through to be this broken💔So Grateful to this Family ❤❤👍
❤❤ Agree 💯❤❤❤
Me too💛💛💛
A zooming dog is a happy dog....thanks to these people and their love and patience 💛💛
Just came here to say the exact thing
We adopted a Beagle who's paperwork said was crate trained 18-20 hours a day, very abused and afraid of everything. Wherever he hid we'd just grab a book and a blanket to sit about 5 feet from him. After about 3 months he was comfortable on his bed in my room near me, and it was almost a year before he'd cuddle on the couch with us. He would always run from brooms or mops so we'd set them against a wall to give him time to leave the room before cleaning.
We had him for 13 years, and I'll never forget the first time he didn't flinch or run when someone stood up and walked toward him. That was the day I knew that he knew he was finally safe.
Just this small clip tells me your pup will be fine. It may not happen as fast as you want it to, but it'll be one of the best experiences. Good luck!
❤️❤️❤️
🙏❤️🙏
what a beautiful story - i hope the owners see this
Some people just suck. We volunteered for ALL Terrier Rescue. A dog jumped into my daughter's crossed legs and would NOT leave. We took him, Boris, home. Boris did well until he saw a broom or a man in white shoes. He adopted us and had a great life. ❤😊
18-20 hours a day?! That’s so cruel.
Glad he has y’all.
How crappy was she treated before, to be this scared? Bless her heart.
I’d say it was severe considering how long it took her to trust this beautiful family. I bet she was never allowed to have the “zoomies” … thank you to your family for taking her. She’ll never have to worry again because she is definitely very much loved now.
@corrinemischiek1487 Indeed. Moat dogs need long runs or exercise with their parents, or at least to be able to have zoomies. Dogs are not robots, or stuff toys. They are living, breathing, feeling beings with inate rights.
@@dmikewilcoxso true.
Or just was not raised around humans and not used to petting.
@@nativesrilankan7545 I hope so
I was at least the 5th owner of my rescue pup. I got her at 5 years old. The 1st 10 days she was perfect and then she realised she was staying. She destroyed so many things, and any noise, even ones she'd heard before, sent her to hide in my bathroom for just about a year. I have had her 4 years now, and she's learnt how to be a dog, sniff, play, etc from my other older dog. Just before Christmas last year, she finally looked at me with her eyes while at home. Elsewhere, she always looks for me to make sure I don't leave/abandon her as others have before. Our connection is getting stronger every day, and I can't imagine life without her. The challenge has been so worth it.
Thank you for your patience and commitment.
💖💖💖
You were just meant to be this puppy's family! What a wonderful healing process! God bless everybody!
Thank you for taking the time to give her the space that she needed. Now she can trust and she’s happy.
It takes patience and you allowed her to get comfortable and trust. ❤😊
Being slow and gentle with her paid off, what a sweet girl who realised she is safe. Beautiful transformation. Thank you for taking her in and being patient with her. Beautiful story
She was waiting for just the right time to come out of her shell, it is heartbreaking to know that she must have gone through alot for her to be that terrified of people 💔 but now she knows that you love her so much 🐾💜🐾❤️🐾💜🐾❤️
💖💖💖
Love and patience works every time ❤
Smiling from ear to ear. God bless her and them
It’s always amazing. What a little patience and love can do.❤
With animals and people ...
Adopted a 4 month old Sheepadoodle (Breeder asked me to pick him up). Abused… isolated, terrified of the dark, only occasionally fed (and we soon learned he was violently allergic to red meat), and the list goes on. He initially didn’t trust us at all, would not play, was terrified of hands… and then one day (almost a year later) something clicked!! He started acting silly and we realized that OMG… we have a puppy! Since then, he gets the zoomies daily, plays with toys, plays fetch and tease, has a basket of toys and each one is his favourite, and he hums/sings to us when he’s happy.
We NEVER gave up and it was the smartest decision we’ve ever made. We all LOVE him unconditionally. ❤❤
THISIS SO LOVELY
Thank you so much. You and family are the best. 😊
💖💖💖
Time and patience every single time!
Beautiful work ladies!!!
I ❤ this so much! Brings me to tears to see pups with such broken spirits & elates me to see them trust again! Great job!
Thank you for your love and patience with this beautiful baby ♥️
I have to ask myself constantly
How could anyone do this to any animal.
How can they look them in the eyes day in & day out sitting in a cage.
Know kind words, know interaction with them what so ever.
It is heartbreaking 💔 & so cruel.
I’m so happy that sweet baby has found a loving and forever home.
Bless you! 🐾💕
Once they earn your trust and feel safe, the Zoombies take over!! Thank you for giving her her furever home! ❤❤
Thank you for adopting this precious pup. She must have had a terrible life to be so fearful and sad, so she needed patience and time to trust again. It's absolutely gorgeous seeing this angel happy and loving and loved and safe and expressing her joy and sense of fun. She's finally in the home she's always deserved, and everything's as it should be. ❤❤❤❤
😊😊
I do not see how the human species could survive without doggos in our lives🎉
Well, given that we survived and thrived for nearly 200 thousand years before we had dogs and only 20% of Americans even own a dog, I'm pretty sure we would be just fine. That being said, it would surely be a great loss for humanity.
@@TheIndigo1child oh we've been existing infinitely. Goes to show by yr figures that humans haven't evolved unless u r a sheep n only know to follow. I would say as I did doggos r way smarter than most humans who exist since they existed. I'm referring to unconditional love ❤ peace
Agreed! ❤❤❤
Without dogs, the world would be a smaller, colder place.
Heart. MELTED. Thank you for the patience and love, the world needs a million more just like you
Those are some epic zoomies!!! Fawn is in great hands. ❤
Way to go ladies! You broke her psychosis with your love and compassion.
Thank you SO much for not giving up on this pup!!
She is gorgeous, thank you for adopting her & letting her show love in her own time!
So wonderful when a rescue realizes they are safe and their personality blossomS.
Thanks so much for sticking it out with him! So kind of you
Thank you for having patience and loving her!
She is thriving with your love and care.
She realized you were good people that loved her and were keeping her safe. Beautiful girl.😊
Not only are you adopting her, shes adopting you,and that takes time and trust. Good job giving her that time and space, its always worth it.❤❤❤
It's amazing how a dog will open up once they feel safe
I love and relate to this story with my feral 🐈🐈🐈 kitties and extra shy rescued kitty. 😻 Congratulations 👏😅 on your success story.❤ 😄🎉 God bless your family 💖 and your cute doggo.💙🙏💛🐶✨🕯️✨🕊️🤍
Thank you for not giving up on her. She is a beautiful girl and she shines with your love. It’s precious to see.❤
She's beautiful!
You gave her time....she finally gave in to your love!
Mans best friend!!!😂❤
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and love. Will be returned to you 10 fold❤
This is amazing DO nothing, but let her be her and give lots of LOVE ❤️ 😍 💖 🐾🐕🐶🦋☺️😅
Bless her little heart. That look in her eyes at the beginning was pure mistrust.
I’m so very happy you cured her.
Someone trusting you with their heart is the most precious gift in the world! 😍🙏🕊️
Thanks for giving this dog a chance ❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏
Thank you. You gave her a new life filled with joy, love, and celebration, and it has changed her for ever.
Thank you for taking the time with her.
You restored her faith in humanity!!
That so sad and happy at the same time almost. Thanks for giving her time to explore and observe and figure out that you were the good guys and she could trust you.
The hard work is being patient at the beginning. But once that puppy Trusts you, that love is there forever ❤😊❤
Bless your hearts for not giving up on her
You didn't give up on her.
Congratulation, patience and kindness rewarded you with a friend.
Love takes time, she’s gorgeous!
They take their own time.😂❤
Rescue an animal. Their devotion becomes endless with time, love and patience😊
Poor baby. She was so traumatized. Thank you for being so patient with her💖
She is So Beautiful!❤❤
In a sea of people, my eyes will always search for you❤
She found HERSELF!!!! So beautiful to watch her. ❤❤
How sweet. It does take time. She will love and appreciate you forever.
Allergies are kicking in HARD!!,😭😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤
It is so rewarding to win over an animal. Good job ladies
Thank you for not giving up on this wonderful little creature!!❤❤
Patience is the key. My friend had a feral cat living in his wood pile for a few years and he was surviving well enough but the winters were tough, I'm sure. We decided to trap him in a Have-a-Heart trap. That took 3 months. He was smart and could go in, eat the food and leave without triggering it. Once trapped he was very defensive and could not be touched. Then came a vet trip for check and shots, then to my guest bedroom. Once month later another trip to the vet to be neutered. That was tough! I took me and my friend 3 hours to trick him into the pet carrier, both wearing oven mitts. After that, he calmed down a bit but it took him 9 months before he could come out from under bed while I was in the room. Finally, he just laid down beside me and let me pet him, brush him and it was like overnight. Now he's fully integrated into the household. Patience is IT.
Thank you for adopting! 🐾💕🙏🏽
It's so sad & heartbreaking not really knowing what a fur baby has been thru, but you know it's a lot & awful for this poor baby to be so distrusting. May God bless you all for doing what needed done to bring this baby back. I HATE these stories because it breaks my heart to think what they might have gone thru. It takes time, love and patience to do what your doing. I LOVE that part! We need more people like you! ❤
Thank you for showering her with love and patience. Your kindness is an inspiration! ❤❤❤
Wonderful to see her coming out of the shell she created. What a sweetheart 💖
How precious! Thanks for your caring patience, she's worth it!
I rescued a medium schnauzer/ Scotty mix from a shelter my worked in. She was a “ backyard puppy mill mamma” of many litters but only 3 until her last litter and her were dropped at the shelter😊 my daughter sent her picture and said she was mellow and timid and working my magic would be a good fit ❤ I took her in April of 2023! She didn’t know to dog😂 no toys, no cuddles, I put a darkening tent on my bed and we layed in there at night, walked her, threw toys( nope) but then one day, she got the zoomies ( in July) started carrying toys, loved squeakers talks to me, I dance with her, we howl together ❤ I love my LIVY❤ thank you my daughter for the amazing work you do at the shelters and on the streets keeping animals safe from neglect and abuse! Our capeless Hero💞
That poor baby! I can only imagine how badly those hands that came before yours treated this beautiful puppy! It's a WONDERFUL thing, though, to see how far she's come with love and patience from your entire household. God bless you! I wish you all a long and healthy life together filled with absolute peace and joy - you all deserve nothing but the best that life has to offer. ❤❤🐾🐾🙏🙏🐕🐕🤗🤗👍👍
What an amazing transformation. Patience and kindness.
Perseverance gave this little girl trust. Beautiful, enjoy
She’s absolutely beautiful and has such a precious soul. What a PUP!♥️
Aw, it just took a little time to earn this dogs trust. She will be a loyal and loving dog forever! God bless you!
Her love for you is worth all of it 💗
So sweet. That's love.
She's won😅. She's happy
because of you. Take a bow.
Not everyone is this dedicated. Thank you. You will have a dog that really loves and trusts you.
It’s so amazing to see the lights come on once a rescue pet understands they are in a safe loving place….
One of my favorite stories! Your patience and love saved Fawn's life! Fawn is worth the wait! 😇😇😇🐕🐾💞🏡
There is no moment better or more gratifying than when a timid, withdrawn, fearful and even possibly mistreated precious pup (at any age) finally really understands that it is safe, protected and LOVED. 😍😍😍😍
Thank you so much for your patience with that beautiful baby❤🐕
Sweet baby girl, thank you for being patient with this precious family member🙏🩷🙏
Thank you for having patience with her and not just, like, returning her to the rescue because “we’re just not bonding with her.” Too many people give up too soon, or aren’t willing to put in the time and effort. It takes a special kind of person to put in the effort to draw a dog like this out eventually. And so worth it!
How she loves you shows how you loved her so much you gave her all of the time she needed to trust that you were really kind and loving.
YOU never gave up on her! God Bless you
She couldn't find better family ❤
Dogs can be so traumatized and yet capable of trusting again; they are angels! And you ladies, are amazing human beings! ❤❤❤
Thank you for your patience 🙏 ❤
Thank you for adopting this beautiful girl and being patient till she came out of her shell
This is beautiful. She'll now live her best life ❤
How amazing working in her time letting her know that when she was ready for the touch, she would let you know that is great. You guys are done a great job with
Patience is a virtue! You did exactly what she needed. Job well done! 😊
What a beautiful day for that surprise!!! She had such distrust for humans. That made me happy ♥️
Someone online said the other day that cats are better because you have to work for them to trust you. They have no idea what they’re talking about. So many dogs have trauma 😢. Your pup is a direct reflection of how wonderful you are as pup parents ❤
Thank you so much for being loving and patient. A lot of people would have just given up, but you didn't, and she'll love you forever for it
When I see success stories like this, my heart melts. It's sad that pets are mistreated, but to watch the transformation to feeling happy and safe is amazing
You gave her back, the joy and love she deserves, you have done good ❤❤❤❤
The trauma the poor pupper endured is obvious. Patience, understanding, and love just like a child would need. ❤😢😊
- Awe that poor dog. No animal should ever be *that* scared of a human. That goes to show how poorly she was treated. Thanks 2 these ppl who saved her life so she can be a *happy* pup forever. 🐶
