    6:05 question no. 5 answer should be d, as between crust and upper mantal conard discontinuity while mohr is between upper and lower mantle

    • @ParchamClasses
      @ParchamClasses  Před 7 měsíci +2

      No, Moho’s discontinuity comes between crust and upper mantle. Between upper and lower mantle comes repetti discontinuity. Plz refer to the diagram given in the video

    • @sayantanpaul1655
      @sayantanpaul1655 Před 6 měsíci

      Mohorovicic discontinuity is between crust and asthenosphere/upper crust...p waves velocity increase beyond moho from around 7km/s to 8 km/s....

  • @santoshvaish2331
    @santoshvaish2331 Před 6 měsíci

    Don't mind ma'am but I think in the whole video one thing is thing is bothering me lithosphere does not includes asthenosphere because as per convectional current theory lithosphere floats over asthenosphere.Moreover I have read that asthenosphere is in semi solid or semi molten state.Also as per your diagram also I can see lithosphere does includes mantle and crust but not as the no sphere.
    If I disregard above errors you were awesome❤🎉

    • @TheNeha933
      @TheNeha933 Před 6 měsíci +1

      Asthenosphere (Upper Mantle)is solid and lower Mantle is Molten.
      Lithosphere = Crust + upper Mantle (Asthenosphere).
      How can a solid float over a solid.
      To float, one needs liquid.
      So Lithosphere floats on Mantle which is molten
      I hope your doubt is cleared😊

    6th answer wrong .....oceanic crust is thinner than continental

    • @TheNeha933
      @TheNeha933 Před 5 měsíci

      Listen carefully. The question is not about thickness instead is about Density.
      Oceanic crust is denser than continental crust
      But continental crust is thicker than oceanic crust
