I will never understand why you dont have more. When I first got into modding Skyrim, I wastched so many of your videos. In your videos everything is so clearly explained. You don't rush through things or assume everyone has the same knowledge. Thank You for your work.

Hi gamerpoets, it's been 2 years of my modding journey and you were the one who helped me getting started. Now I've got some cool combat mods, even heavily modded the graphic and got like 400 modlist and i really enjoy my gaming experience in skyrim.
Now skyrim for me is like modding the game to my liking and play new content dlc from modders.
It's been quite a journey from learning that MO2 is just better performance than vortex, installing SKSE, and I still remember when i was learning FNIS from you and now we got pandora engine behavior.
It was quite a journey learning with you, thank you really!

You have no idea how crazy I was going, I had just built a new computer so I had to redownload all the mods and such, and nothing worked when I opened with skse, and turns out, the problem was that I had to copy the contents from the zipped files directly and NOT unzip the file. I had entirely forgotten that I was supposed to do that, so this helped me so much. Also, the fact that you are very clear and to the points with the steps helped a lot so future new modders will definitely love this!

Along with skse, there's also BETHINI which allows you to tweak the ini file without much trouble. Everyone playing skyrim or going to play should be familiar with this magical wand called BETHINI.

Question: do you intend to do some of those updated tutorial videos on Fallout 4 as well? i mean, considering it's back in trendings because of the series and all.
I wanted to play it with mods but it seems that Fallout 4 guides on the internet are quite old and few use MO2, so i would really like if you made one.

@gamerpoets I see you dont take the extra step to archive the Data folder and install it manually as a mod to prevent the scripts from being overwritten. Is it not necessary anymore?

Btw just downloaded fallout after a year to mod it again because of the show then update hit me like a truck i think downgrading Fsks4 using steam is a good video idea unless updated to it dosent break any old mod (if its like AE it will miss up all the mods before it )

what does the src folder in the skse do to the game?
Every time I try to drag the files across into my game file I get the same popup saying that the files I specified are not valid or are too long. I've watched the video twice, looked online and have redownloaded SKSE 4 times making sure it's the correct version for my game. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, please help

I'm on the OG version of skyrim and SKSE says to install the latest anniversary build, but that's for build 1.6.1170
My build won't seem to go higher than 1.3.22.0

Hey can you please do a skyrim grass cache generator tutorial. I did get ir going....doesnt seem to work for me. I need your help, and i think alot of people could use it too. Hey, great video, makes this stuff easy to understand. Unfortunately I'm still stuck. My game version is 1.6.1170.0, but it's the downgraded version of the GOG game. MO2 is auto detecting SKSE(for 1.6.1170.0, not GOG's 1179), which I dragged to my folder just like I saw in this video, but I'm not able to detect SKSE version, despite launching through SKSE perfectly fine. I also installed the game as per your instructions of the clean installation video. I'm really new to all this so I probably missed something small tbh
I'm a little asleep and may misunderstand. If you have 2 versions of skse on your pc (multiple game installs) go into mo2. Modify executables. Select skse and you'll see its file path. Change that path to the other skse install.
@@gamerpoets sorry I can be a bit wordy and get confusing lol. I only have the 1 skse version. The Binary is "C:\File\skse64_loader.exe" and it starts in "C:\File" which is also where SkyrimSE is located, along with the GOG setup/patch files. Arguments is blank
@@gamerpoets Turns out, apparently downgrading the GOG version of 1.6.1170 doesn't function with SKSE, so unless you already have offline backup files of an earlier version, you're stuck with 1.6.1179

Brother I'm having many issues with this. I am using vortex. I have all the correct versions of everything installed. I have SKSE in the correct spot. When I go to launch it says cannot find SkyrimSE.exe. how is that even possible lol
Please do a dynadolod, grassloD, tree Lod and terrain Lod as well as changing the view distance I can’t seem to get it right
Second on the grassLOD. Still unsure how to make that work until now.
Your vids are good as usual but that last Fallout 4 stupid update or I call it downdate broke everything I used a mod to fix everything called Downgrader worked perfectly

I’m having a problem where the moment I launch the game, it’ll display the logo and start the soundtrack then just immediately crash. I’m new to modding so i am unsure if it’s on my part or the game
Crashes on start up can be from a few things. Mods that aren't compatible. Mods missing master files. Mod versions that don't match the game version. I downloaded skse per instructed and theres like 100 things in there not 5 and no folders. I also dont have a mod manager or know how to use one. :( When i try to copy the files over it says the file extension is too long.
