- Every Soviet Republic had to have a hotel that would represent the country and would host international guests. They were usually build for a highest possible soviet standard and named after the country. In Tashkent - Uzbekistan’s capital (surprise, surprise) they built Hotel Uzbekistan.
For a long time I been wanting to stay in one of those hotels, but never had chance. Until today… Join me for tour in Hotel Uzbekistan!

why didn't you go to go sightseeing? didn't you find any other hotels except hotel uzbekistan? you'd to go hyatt regency or grand mir. Don't make a conclusion about our country with seeing only uzbekistan hotel. It was your mistake to go uzbekistan hotel having a list of choices in terms of hotels.

i was becoming a huge interest subscriber for your blog but whenever you started criticizing our country i'd lost my interest rudy. What was the meaning of showing some pipes coming from the heater? What's the reason of staying in the oldest hotel? What's the reason of not showing tashkent's downtown's? you've been a charming guy until i watch this my country's video?
Hello! Think we need to get something straight. I was never criticizing Uzbekistan, quite opposite, was very positively surprised about what I saw in the country. The reason why I stayed there is that I always wanted to stay there and been fascinated by it’s looks. On top of that, dont think I said anything negative besides bit of sarcasm about pipes :)
