- Hello once again foul tarnished... It's been a hot minute since I've done anything from Elden Ring as I have been working a lot on getting the this 1ft tall utter badass of the Lands Between completed. An absolute spectacle of a boss and one of the most memorable from me first run through.

This page has allowed me to share my journey with learning to 3D print and paint models from my favourite games, so I wanted to share the process with all of you! From painting and collecting all the models from the Dark Souls Boardgame, the Bloodborne Boardgame and also printing dozens of Elden Ring Characters, Dark Souls Figures, Bloodborne Models, Sekiro Statues and also Fromsoftware Dioramas, I'm trying to improve my painting skills with every video and I'd love for you to join! Amazing print, I have the same model but am struggling with the supports, any tips?
Hey! So I use chitubox for slicing and for models this scale I use heavy supports with a density of 80. It does require a bit of tidying up and cleaning up post-print but it meant that I didn’t get any fails with this one. Also things like, angling the the pieces at around 30-45 degrees, hollowing the prints out and creating adequate drain holes on them helps a great deal

Not to be that guy but to let you know its filigree the famcy golden swirly bits just a bit of a fun fact ( filigree can also be done on wood ) because i believe a decal is painted / water transfered on and is flat where in filigree is often raised on carved in

Did you print this yourself at home or is there a person/company you can recommend for printing/shipping these?
I print everything myself, I use an AnyCubic Mono X. There are loads of decent places who can print for you, but often charge a fair amount to do so

Sick. I am really missing out not having played Elden Ring yet. Any design I have seen from the game looks badass. Maybe I'll wait for a dlc bundle to get into it.

How did the printing go? I'm using an Elegoo Mars 3 and I gotta print the pieces at 80% scale. Got a few minor failures on the main body and left arm. Yours doesn't have the same minor print failures so I'm curious as to how you set it up. Did you print the pieces as one solid piece or did you hollow them out?
So I use an AnyCubic Mono X with AnyCubic standard grey resin. it was at 100% scale, for fiddly bits like hair I drop it to a lift speed of 90. I hollow them out as well, tilt at 35-45 degrees and use thick supports with a density of 80%. I have a heater in the printer to rescue failures. Only failure I had was a small thin hole in the arm but I use putty to fill them in if they’re not massive!

I bet the armor part burnt you out, it's no small feat. But I would spend more time on painting the sword and the stand, especially the candle fire. The contrast is too low.
Yeah I remember spending an eternity on the armour 😅 that by the time it came to the base I just “wanted it to be over”

If you ever do move your setup into something more proper, i think better lighting would make your videos look much better. I notice in your videos that the color of the paint looks very different between cameras. Its a little hard to tell how the figure is supposed to look until the very end or beginning when you spin the model around.
Yeah it’s true, it’s mainly due to the difference in the 2 cameras
