    Getting a decent amount of speed out of them. Hopefully you have toned it down now and stay off of the paths, people tend to not expect a bike bombing down them at 20+mph. I'm gonna be picking up a 3kw hub motor for mine shortly. it's only running a 1000w hub but the controller is 45A & shunt modded giving over 90A at the moment. Only able to get 35-40mph flat out but hopeful for more with a better hub motor.

      @mikldude9376 Před 6 lety +8

      Alan Price No doubt about it mate , someone on an e bike at speed will ride carelessly and kill someone , and the public will go against all e bikers ,
      and also quicker than you can say "1000 watt motor" ,
      Then the powers that be will on a mission to pull up and check every e bike rider and fine the non conformist..
      And the way it works is this , it will only take one wanker in any country to fuck(pardon my french ) things up , and through public outcry it will then filter down to other countries .
      Watching some of these riders is just frightening .
      You often hear bikers sooking that car drivers and the public hate them , but watching some bikers antics out on the roads and footpaths it is not surprising .
      I am also a bike rider and a car driver and a truck driver , and while there are dipsticks in all forms of transport , i think currently bikers are leading the pack with a higher percentage of ratbags sadly.
      I`d put money on it , not too far down the track e bikes will be regulated to be registered and may even have to have plates ..

    We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. czcams.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

    Initial response: Got this bike for my friend. czcams.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ Delivery was fast. And the friend was surprised I would order it when she had never suggested she wanted anything but the pedal bike she had. She has now ridden the bike two times and gives it a 10 and says it is very fun. We have some hills in our town that are very challenging to climb on a typical bike. But tonight she went up with the pedal assist and loved it. I was way behind on my standard bike, huffing and puffing. Now she is no longer lagging behind me. This thing is powerful enough that a person could go around town without any pedaling. She likes to get some exercise so on flat ground she hits the red button to turn off pedal assist and only uses the twist throttle when she's in a tough spot. The bike looks good. It is really a very nice bike for the friend. Now for me, when I get an electric bike, I'm twice her size and will be looking for a bigger watt motor and battery. But this one is just wonderful for my friend. I am happy with this purchase.

    I had all intensions of riding discreetly but as it was the first time the bike was on the road I just wanted to see how it would perform. I was just very unlucky as the cops who pulled me up where in a unmarked car. The cops here in Australia are very sneaky. Rather than turn the motor down I think I will just sell it. Thanks for your advice all the same

    I get 42.5 mph on 1500watt front hub using 52.v 20ah battery. That is plenty fast enough for me and a bike. No need to make dual motors for I was debating this but too many factors of weight load, frame not sturdy to handle 2 motors of riding for all bikes need adjusting every ride or week of nuts and bolts, ect, Just getting a 1500watt of 52.v 20ah battery is perfect for I used the power to carry a cargo trailer. Bikes of going over 40plusmph not really sturdy enough as the faster you go, the more force you carry around the ride. Any dip, pot holes ect will throw bike into falling apart besides you flying off bike.
