Yeah these were a must grab...the AJ1 hype is dying down but whenever a really clean colorway drops like this it's likely to sell out. Like others mentioned it was also a perfect release for the season being fall/winter right around the corner

The nubuck is “dead” until you hit it with a suede brush in one direction to wake up the pattern in the material. Got my mochas sitting here and the nubuck/suede material is identical in performance while only slightly off in color.
Solid review! On another note, I'm with Chris on the Blue Beatle rating. Fantastic movie! I also agree with what he said about the scary movies. Not my thing at all! 😩

I've watched so many of your videos, and you really came close to some sort of leather quality comparison on the black but refrained. I've seen in another video where you don't consider the Shattered Backboard to have the best leather, and I'm curious as to what you think is the highest quality AJ1.

Just received my pair from the special release day on the Nike app in the UK. They look even better in person. And they fit awesome. Although it looks like the golden accent on the tongue is off Center? But I don’t care. I’m so happy.

The UNC 1s didn't sit for long, but they weren't that hard to get. I got mine on release day around 2 afternoon. No raffle win or res, just walked right in.
I got a pair... which arrived with a manufacturing defect, so I had to return them, and by that point they were sold out so I couldn't do an exchange :(
I did the same. In my town on late month release you can pretty much grab raffle releases.

These have been on my really short "must cop" list for the year ever since their photos first leaked. Once I get these, I'm good on Jordan 1s for the foreseeable future. Bold statement, but it's true.
I'll make room for the Chicagos if they retro again though, or even better... if they come out in the '85 cut.

My first J's were the Olive 9s. I grabbed them for $60 in store and wore them my Freshman year. Coach always says I looked like I was wearing hiking boots. These are similar color block, zero chance I could get the O.G. 9s

I think they used crazyhorse leather on this one to fit the "Palomino" theme.
