Just found this again for the first time in like, two years. Has it really been over 3 years since this came out? I was in High school when it was released. I remember obsessing over the band when I discovered them. I remember waiting for Pariah's Child to come out and I was so excited. I was so obsessed I literally used the band's name as a password for a few school related websites

I was there for the San Antonio leg of the tour. Hell of a show with Xandria and Delain opening for them.
It's nice to see the guys not take themselves so seriously. By the way, I loved the "twerking" Elias did. As for the haters, get over yourselves.
People who think that this song shows Sonata doesn't take themselves seriously... "Sonata Arctica isn't some heroic metal. This is zero-charisma coward metal!" Eläkeläiset. Sonata has always been one of those tongue-in-cheek bands. The black sheep of metal.
+NachoFast I kinda disagree, Sonata Arctica has very powerful and meaningful, serious songs. Maybe a few of their songs like Shitload of Money and Cinderblox are kinda fun, but for the most part, Sonata writes art that people can relate to, especially about the darker aspects of life.

Es tan admirable que una banda haga y toque lo que le plazca sin tener que ajustarse a géneros y expectativas de los fans. Arriba Sonata!. Y a quien no le guste pues que se vaya a ver otro vídeo o a escuchar otras bandas que para gustos y preferencias hay mucho :)

Emily Tiff Sonata es la posta loco!. Hay que romper todas las barreras de la musica para hacerse notar, y no por eso la banda pierde su calidad. Desde los principios sonaron increible, y actualmente suenan muchisimo mejor, y en vivo ni argumento. Yo los tengo bien arriba en mi lista :3.

Oh my gosh you are SOO right XDD I have sayed this for years! You should have seen the clothes he wore last month, when I had the great great pleasure to see him and the band live (accoustic tour 2019). I took my boyfriend for the first time to a SA show and he still can't get over Tony's choice for stage clothing LMAO
Being a terribly sloppy dresser myself, I'm glad there are still people out there who are just as uninterested in fashion as I am : D

While the other people in the comments are hating the band, i'll say this: I loved the humor in the video and all the different locations used. even my home town of Edmonton, Alberta. I recognize that place because I was at an internship two blocks away from there at a TV station at the time they were touring. wish i could've seen them though. Next time! Edmonton, Alberta will always welcome Sonata Arctica with open arms. Maybe even some songs from their demo days of Tricky Beans will come back? hint hint!

The original "I Can't Dance" has been my favourite song since I was 3. This is my second favourite song ever! :D

Every band has their ups and downs and sonata arctica is no different. If you appreciate music and what the band is trying to do with each song, than you can truly appreciate what they want. With this song they are just having fun and doing a great cover of a great band and anyone who is like, "Oh sonata arctica isn't metal anymore" or "Oh they aren't as good as they used to be" Guess what every band had their hayday and everyone says they aren't as good as they used to be so if you don't like the song or what the band has become just move on and listen to the old stuff and keep your mind closed.

Antes eran cheveres, Incluso lo que aportaba Jani era algo mas melódico, el de ahora solo pone acordes. me alegro que te hayan llegado al corazón , a mi sinceramente no me gustaron.
uy la verdad concuerdo un poquito contigo, antes su melodia y sonfnia eran mucho mas inspiradoras tanto como en su voz y su genero especifico que guardaba sonata arctica, lo hacia unico, a mi parecer sigue siendo unico, pero si han cambiado algunas cosas pero igual ese fenomeno unico es lo que realmente me gusta de esta banda ojala fuera un poco como antes y podamos ver algo parecido a lo que inicialmente eran. buen aporte

I actually like this. It's great music, even though it's not the same sound from Ecliptica.. but, hey.. I know if you all were in a band you would probably change your style a little bit in a term of more than 10 years working in the music industry.
A real artist needs to be aware of change and don't be scared about trying new styles and new ways of making music.
It's still a great band, if they had changed their style is because they are not as mind closed as a lot of their metalhead fans.
