Pepper Pendant Tutorial.

- Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make this pendant you will need -
• 0.8mm wire (20g), 3 x 11" (28cm)
• 0.315mm weaving wire (28g) 200cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
• cabochon, mine is 18mm by 13mm (you can use a different size, just remember to adjust wire length and weave repeats accordingly)
• 2 beads, mine are 3mm
I no longer put links to tools on here.
The tools I use are:
• Tronex needle nose pliers
• Tronex short round nose pliers
• Tronex razor flush cutters
• Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
• Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
• Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
• Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
• Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

As for the captions, I think they are very helpful because not only do you have a really soft voice, but when you start redesigning from your original design, you tend to talk more to yourself than to the camera 😂

This is just beautiful Kelly. I enjoy watching your videos so much and the captions do help me out. I'm not that experienced at making jewelry and use dead soft wire, but it bends out of shape so easy. Would it be better to use half hard wire? Thank you so much! Peggy
Oh thanks so much, no i wouldn't touch half hard. Dead soft is perfect, are you using 20g (0.8mm) and 28g (0.315mm) ? My wires would bend a lot when I first started and keeping them straight was a nightmare but it does get better/easier with time.
@@KellyJonesJewellery yes that is what I use most. I also use square wire and half round which works really good for me. I wish I had started making wire jewelry years ago, I enjoy it so much. It’s hard on my hands sometimes but for being 69 years young I’m happy with what I make. Lovely design! Please clarify the size of the cabochon you used. In the tutorial you say it's 18x13mm, but the size in the description box shows 28x13mm. Thanks! 😘

You're very welcome, you can use those thicker gauges if you like but I find the thinner ones a lot easier to get tidy, I've always struggled with the thicker weaving wire but give it a go, see how you get on 👍 xx
