How to create ABSTRACT ART using mix media techniques [ drawing ideas]

In this video I show you how to create an easy colourful expressive painting using drawing inks and masking fluid. In this particular video I paint a tiger, re-creating the patterns and fur of the animal I use expressive techniques to an abstract effect.

I’m going to try this, I needed inspiration. I have watercolour and masking fluid and also some intense pencils. I will try using the supplies I have, will let you know how I get on with it. I love abstracted art and I think that this maybe the kind of thing that will move me into collage and mixed media. I’m not bored of watercolour but feel the need to be more of something less contrived.

I like the urban building paintings you show at around 2:00. Are these also done using masking fluid? Do you have any, or do you plan on making any videos illustrating the techniques you used?
