Today I install a full do88 intake system on my Saab 9-3 Turbo X. This kit comes in two different parts, both of which are equally beneficial! Watch the video to see how big of a difference it made :)

At 6:49 my "FAIL" merely represented the fact that I couldn't get the whole kit in in one piece!
An update on the Saab Planet situation: since my and Syd’s video, it appears Saab Planet has given credit in all of their posts (while also blocking both of our accounts in the process, lol)

As many know the paperfilter can handle up to 300hp. I installed a Pipercross filter and Hirsch modified the airbox on my Nordic Uhr B207 9-3 Biopower -08 for better sound ;) Anyway DO88 do awesome products.
Added an air intake on my -08 V6 Aero to (but BSR) and noted the same thing. Not any power improvement, and I didn't expect that but less turbo lag, for sure. Nice video, thanks

Just bought the red inlet pipe and the air filter set super excited to install this next will be the pressure pipes and coolant pipes

I also added a strut bar to the front and that helped handling. Ordered some upgrade Saab parts from Hungary. We will see how that goes

Your engine bay really starts to look epic, you should also add a front strut brace for the looks and performance. I know that the k&n filter alone changes the sound of the turbo, so I can imagine how this kit feels like.
That's definitely gotta be on the list for next mods!

Sick imma look for the EcoBoost
Gonna get my Saab 900S 2.0 Turbo from 1997 to Maptun this upcomming summer Custom 3 inch exhaust from turbo and back with Air cone and pipes + Chip so it will land at 265 BHP for now maybe in 2020 i will get a bigger turbo,Injectors & Etc. so it can make 400 BHP so far it has only done 150.000km / 93.000 Miles

I also had to cut the flange to get the intake pipe to fit. The rest of the Do88 parts fit without issue. Not a big fan of these replacement air boxes based on testing.

I bought a K&N filter for my other 9-3 a while ago, and the full intake system makes a much bigger difference
I find same at bsr optiflow, i cant decide which is better or there nothing diference.
Quality; do88 is top notch. The BSR intake is plastic just like the OEM one :(

how do fix my 93 turbo Saab when my scanner says the chambers aren't closeing properly for the fuel injectors and it's smokeing out of the tailpipe and behind the engine ?
So I got the heat shield and filter coupler for Christmas from Do88, and I've noticed a huge drop in intake temps according to Torque
What's you eSid say for power and boost?
Haven't tested that a whole lot yet, but I have noticed the turbo gauge goes a bit further into the red now
@@AutoAutopsy I mean the HP numbers and boost numbers on the actual eSID, not the boost gauge. Mine reads 295 HP and 15.5 ft lbs of boost, (which i guess is the max boost the ECU reads). More curious about the HP numbers on that thing in comparison.
You should get a blow off valve to make the turbo even louder
The computer would have a heart attack over the release of pressure. Open air intake gives the same sound.

I like the videos on the V6, but the "club" music in between shots is distracting and annoying. It takes away from the concentration needed for the message or tutorial. IMO

Total bollocks, this will not do anything for your engine performance. The air in the engine compartment is not still are. As the car is being driven, the air is churning around like crazy and zero or very little heat is gained by the air. Further more, for anyone to say this mod makes a big differance is a joke.
Think what you want and continue to be narrow-minded, but the numbers and video speak for themselves
