The caliber of actors on this show has never been matched even the guy playing the medium is brilliant. 2) Paulie would never divulge any details about the hits he did to his goomar or any other civilian PERIOD.
@@matthewrichardson6263 Paulie was notorious for running his mouth. He told Johnny Sack about the Ginny Sack joke that Ralphie had made. When Tony and Paulie headed down to Florida, it's pretty clear Paulie will talk to anyone who will listen. His goomar who he sees regularly and has been for a long period and more then likely trusts her with his life (no wife, no kids), he has to confide in someone.
You can see Tony confides with a Therapist, Silvio confides with his wife, and Paulie confides with his goomar. Tony and Silvio although much smarter than Paulie, they give less details about events in the mob life, Paulie may be more open to spilling the beans easily. Paulie knows how to get by and live the mob life but In my opinion, this makes the most sense.
My Dad theorized that he was informed by an agent. I kinda agree with that. This scene really baffled me too, as I'm not really the religious or spiritual type.
Love how Tony didn't like a part in the script where John Heards character called Paulie a bully... David Chase said " how about psycho?".. Tony liked it.
Tony Sirico was a real gangster and a stand up guy. Most of the time he wasn't acting. He left the life and became an actor/consultant in mob movies. Basically he turned shit into gold. A Salud and RIP.

Every role he made it his own. And that spoke volumes of the type of character he portrayed on the show and even his presence in good fellas.
