  • How can engine flush harm your engine? Will flushing the engine damage it? Best engine flush for motorcycles, scooters and car? How to remove carbon deposits from engine? Best flush to remove sludge from inside the engine? Engine flush good or bad for your engine?
    In this video we discuss about contents, working and possible problems with engine flush. Even reputable brands like Liqui moly, 3M, Wurth, Hans lube have Engine flush in their product portfolio and claim flushing the engine with engine flush helps keeping the engine clean by removing the carbon and sludge deposits. Excess of carbon and sludge formation inside the engine can block oil passages, seize piston rings, reduce fuel efficiency and performance of the engine.

    Excellent Video. My dad's splendor has always been used on mineral oil and last year during Diwali holidays I've changed it to semi synthetic. The oil is surely due for a change now though the bike has only covered 100kms after the oil change. I've decided to go with Shell Advance Ultra and the deposits in the engine should be reduced by this. I do still fear using Engine Flush on his bike as I'm still a student and if anything goes wrong, I might get abandoned 😂

      To be honest, as each day passes, new things would keep coming on due to the present state of faster development which is truly a threat to the minds of human beings.
      Our mind would get loaded with unwanted pile of confusions due to overloading of new things that would keep on hitting our minds.
      Stay calm.....
      Before the invention of the fully synthetic engine oils, Mineral oil was the best one and remember those days we had only 2-Stroke engine vehicles (2 Wheelers) which were more sophisticated than the present 4-stroke useless junk engines (bulk production like use & throw stuff).
      Mineral oil would still serve the purpose at its best if gone with a reputed quality brand, whereas the engine flush is absolutely Marketing gimmicks.
      It's very wrong to disturb the internal engine parts and flushing the engine would definitely damage the internal sensitive parts which were nicely set.
      This may result in the damage of internal sealings which have been nicely set.
      This may unnecessarily damage your engine's internal sealings.
      So don't care too much about these marketing gimmicks and live normal like our previous generations did.
      Slow and steady living would keep us healthy.
      Already human minds have been altered a lot since those days with 2G and today's dangerous 4G.

    If someone does oil change in time then he never needs to flush the engine to clean it.

    • @kykenzo9115
      @kykenzo9115 Před 2 měsíci

      Thats not truth. The factory recommended oil change intervals did not factor in the current climate change with hot temperature rising and low air quality. And turbo charge engine. There is sludge built up overtime. And especially on the piston rings and turbo oil feed. Where is micro passage way for oil to flow. And the temperature at turbo charger is cooking/ baking the engine oil inside the tiny oil feed. And overtime, it will thicken and jam the passage.
      Therefore, regular or yearly cleaning would help reduce these built up. The clean engine oil + engine flush is require to have a thorough cleaning.

    @cfitzgduke Před rokem

    Take a small sample of the flushing oil after running the engine, then add the flush product and repeat the engine run and drain. This way you are comparing the flushing oil with the flushing agent. They are often the same when you have a clean engine. If not, then you are truly flushing gunk from a really dirty engine. A car you have maintained properly will get little benefit from the engine flush.
    So are we cleaning gunk and varnish or just flushing the old dirty oil?
    Too many people put in a flushing agent and say "Wow, look how dirty the oil is, this stuff really works." Is the oil flushing residual dirty oil and sediments, or is the flushing agent truly cleaning varnish and gunk?
    Kind of important to know which is of the two options is happening. When the flush oil sample alone is the same as the flush agent oil sample, you'll know your car’s engine is clean and regular oil changes with modern oils will require no more flushing agents. If the oil gets markedly dirtier with the addition of the flush agent, you’ll know you need to keep cleaning out the engine build up. Normally, this won’t be the case.
    Use either a quick step agent like Moly or a 1000 mile clean like Auto-RX or Marvels, but please don’t risk engine or seal damage with kerosene or diesel. One advantage of the “slow burn” cleaners is that you are allowing the fresh oil to clean over time vs. wasting oil with quick clean multiple flushes that might be completely unnecessary and expensive.
    Once you have “cleaned” your engine, regular oil changes will likely be enough and no more flushes should be required. However, if you are OCD like me, do an engine flush when you change your transmission/differential fluid/oil, every 30k/60k miles, or use the slow burn additive every other oil change

      Rajesh chinna don’t don’t don’t change your oil and filter every 5000 to 5500 km period . I don’t follow the idiot indicator saying change oil or manufacture recommendations . My daily driver has 408678 km runs sounds like new ,I change oil every 5000 km . And transmission yearly as well as power steering and brake fluid

      Is this your first oil change?
      If yes then you can try the Liqui Moly flush before using their oil which is specially made for 2 wheelers: amzn.to/2xnQpcW
