Peter Rod I know he has several options and different setup combos with the turbos, trans. & converters. Nothing diesel. He has had 572 cu. in. 481x from Proline with twin 102s from Precision Turbos. He is def up there with one of the baddest radial cars in the world and that is coming from a KTR's Stevie Fast fan.
so all the Fox body mustang we see were at one point real cars they made that many of them or are they just a bought newly made fiberglass body just made for racing?
Theoretically, smaller twins will spool quicker and not have the same amount of lag. These days though, with small tires and so much power, the little bit of lag is kind of helpful to get the car off the line. That's why you see so many smoke the tires at 100-200 feet instead of at the hit.
Jamessr23 These cars all have minimum weights and they can all come in way under the minimum. The plumbing itself to run twins isn't as heavy as the second turbocharger is, because for a single turbo, you're running almost the same amount of plumbing, just into a Y instead of into a turbo.
maybe if the Crowmod had more than a 482CI engine it'd be a bit diff. He is horribly outgunned in every single race. Almost every pass he's straight and hooked up though. That's THE ONLY reason you see his car late into bracket racing. He has his 482 maxed though and it's not going to ever hit solid 3's in 1/8th races which is what it takes to win. I've love to see him even in a mid five hundred aluminum butler if they made them. He'd be a hemi and blower killer. Throw the old iron head 482 into the new Crow he's making and dump either a higher Butler or start looking for another high rpm engine with 650CI or more. He wants to compete in the NHRA. That 482 is scrappy but it won't get him qualified even. Not versus 900CI's and so who have their data set to lower power off that start before nailing it like they're all doing now.
I get so sick of seeing people hold onto cars when they do burnouts. Not alot in this video but i see it alot in others. do they really think they are helping or just showing off like look at me im with this guy! lol
+Wrists is Frogs its too keep them stright so they don't carry left or right during the burnout it'd to keep them in there tracks and there tracks stright so they can back into them......
The gt86 is his fastest car 3.88@190 so far on big slicks not drag radials and he would have had trouble on this cold, wet track just like everyone else but he can definitely be competitive in pro radial if he chooses too

And for what so a crew person trying to look like a badass.its just plain stupid
