Dead & Company was formed in 2015 when the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir joined forces with artist and musician John Mayer, Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge, and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. The result was one of the most successful touring bands of the decade. The inaugural tour kicked off in the fall of 2015 with two sold-out shows at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City and ended with two sold-out performances at the ‘Fabulous’ Forum in Inglewood, California.
Since then, the band has completed five tours, playing to more than 1.5 million fans, and has become a record-breaking stadium act. Dead & Company has headlined iconic stadiums across the country including Folsom Field, Autzen Stadium, Citi Field, Fenway Park and Dodger Stadium. Additionally, the band broke Wrigley Field’s all-time concert attendance record in 2017. Dead & Company’s 2018 Summer Tour ranked in the top 25 of the Top 100 Worldwide Tours and for the past two years, their Summer Tours ranked in the top 15 of the Top Global Concert Tours.

I had no idea John Mayer could play guitar like this. Love watching & listening.
Sometimes the offspring utterly lives up to the legacy of the parent. This is a great band!
That's the coolest I've seen Bob look all tour. Could be a supporting character in an old Clint Eastwood western
Say that Again!!
I absolutely love love love this!!! Bob and the boys still doin it!!! The show must go on!!
That “sound as Great as any other version. (Even Buddy Holly’s!)
This was a great show!!! Unfortunately I had to fly back home the second night, but was all in all a great time!!!❤️
1st night was much better, full moon and all!
Best wishes to BK. Get well soon.
I love Redrocks, maybe the best concert venue in America!
Wow I remember when Billy’s dad passed away 1994 Orlando they canceled first night hope all is good Billy
Transition into Speedway was 🔥
4:30 Mayers neck is on another level. That's me dead and Co 2023 tour
I seen the dead April 5 1995 in B'ham Alabama, best night of my life!❤
Highlight of this show was scarlet>estimated>eyes>fire
Nice tempo here boys. Getting much better and listenable again. Better yet danceable. Keep it up!! Great look there Bobby! Get well soon Billy!! ⚘🎸✌
Exactly, was thinking the same thing….Even noticed it tonight, the 20th, as well.
@@ultimatecontactsports yeah, i think they may have got the message. I mean phil is older and still keeps the tempo up. So do Jrad and DSO and all the others. Not asking for "just exactly perfect" but they were too sleepy. Much better past two nights. Lets hope it sticks and i will buy tix again!! ✌🎸⚘
The end of this era is too soon
I can imagine how chilly these shows were ! October in Colorado!
Red rocks was frigid!!! Fiddlers green not as bas
It was comfortable in a hoodie, fingers got cold holding my beer.
They’re hit or miss….I’ve seen shows there late September to November and I always hesitate to do it again….I mean it might be 65 degree weather. Or it might be 35
On things for sure….that area around Denver isn’t “Colorado weather” persay….it’s drastically different an hour west in the mountains
All winter long the weather can be surprisingly mild in that area
People make so much of Keith Richards rhythm playing but as far as I'm concerned Bob weir is the best around, always was and always will be!!
Positive vibrations to Billy!
Was there, it was awesome regardless of the last-minute switchola
It is hard to compare with Buddy. It's never possible to be better than original, this is the next best thing.
Hope all is well with you Billy. Prayers, love and sunshine coming your way! 🙏🌹😎🌹
I hate to be that guy because it’s disrespectful. But God this sounds infinitely better. It’s hard not to notice when the tempo is rock solid.
HAPPY Birthday
What an incredible set list! Great show. Get well to Billy K, & blessings to all!!! (~);}
Quick recovery to Bill K. Get some Jay!
“ Show must go on” but with more commercials!
He’s VERY GOOD! was that Mickey Beating the Skinss (Playing Drums?)
👏
jay was not happy when bob said “to make matters worse” that wasnt very chill. jay ended up steering the boat by the end of the night. praises to him
Jay and Bob has known each other for years and played together in Ratdog and Wolf Brothers. i am sure Jay can take a joke ;-)
It was a joke TW.
Jay didn't look too stoked.
@@functusian that's just Jay
@@functusian looked nervous to me
(“Sounds”!)😊😊
super magnifique look❤bob❤
How you gonna have an ad during this?! 😑
Enjoy the Ride Jay, but stay in your Lane bro!! Bobby layin that classic Prankster initiation vibe on you was awesome! (Hey, Tom Banjo, It's time to matter. The earth will see you on through this time)
Sux this happened to Billy for you to get your "shot at the big time", but hey ... next player up, right Walton?? (Go Warriors !!)
✌️✌️🙀
#########✌️✌️👏👏👏🙀🙀❤️💜
👏👏🙀
IS HE John Mayer?
Don’t get me wrong love the band and all of the members but Bobby’s been playing this 10 or so minute “ not fade away” version for so many years. After Jerry passed and he was playing with Ratdog on the regular I heard this sane version day in day out with little difference. Love the band but this song should be different night in night out to be a true jam and keep the spirit of what the Dead were, are, continue to be. Just my opinion.
(I played Bass ,&Sang.
(1ov “My Bands).Covered this “Buddy Holly Sng!
Call the cops Billy
ya know if some sheriffs didnt fracture my vertebrae in my spine,,oh never mind ..
It was 39 degrees
Must be cold there.
Yep, Bobby is wearing thick socks with his Birkenstock’s!! 😆
Why would Bobby want to bad-mouth Jay Lane?
pranksterz to the core ... cmon man !
Bobby despises Jay Lane. The grudge goes way back to when Jay killed Bob's first-born daughter.
Much love to Billy, but Jay is keeping the groove really happening on this in a way that I haven't heard from D&C. It has always felt like they were on the verge of falling apart, IMO.
Time for 3 Drummers
Looks like there's a nip to the air,...
44°
@@gregor6922 "Scarlet Begonias" opens the 2nd set!
37 at the end, nice autumn weather! Definitely a nip to the air!!!!
Not a chill to the winter but a nip to the air. 39 degrees
JM doesn’t have the tone or the correct approach on this one. The strummed Garcia tone is a big part of this song. Totally missing.
tell this guy to loosen up, i know he's filling in for bill but hes too jordy
"That guy" is Jay Lane. You must be mega noob.
He’s drummed with Weir for hundreds of shows. I think he knows what he’s doing.
@@boognish89 that's hilarious!!!!
@@TheGodfather4200 indeed, he has played a show or two.... quite sure he knows what's up! ✌
lmao stop your noise
I like the band except for John Mayer
terrible take
