This is the Korg SDD-1200 vintage effects unit. Featuring two completely independent digital delay lines. You can patch up the delays any way you like: In series, parallel, internal or external feedback loops. Today I'll be auditioning a few selected patches with some sounds with my Korg Poly-61 Synthesizer.

2 of my favorites back in 1988 :)
5:36 Luscious swell of a pad!
nice
Holy crap! 5:14 … Its a new John Carpenter movie w/Kurt Russell! Thanks for making this G!
Thanks! I’ve actually got one of these I picked up cheap while ago haven’t used it. You’ve given some great starting points to get the best out of it; excellent 👍
Strymon BigSky makes all synthesizers to the best.
Love the feedback example! The patch was already very sweet, but combined with the delay noise it was 80s scifi/horror soundtrack goodness!
The affordable alternative to the legendary Marshall Time Modulator!
Great video as always! Thanks!
It reminds me the DSS1 FX, really the same taste / settings.
These two were made for each other, sounds SO nice! Awesome sound dude 👍🙂
Great job on this. I got one of these dirt cheap as part of a lot (with some other effects) a few years ago. I racked it but it's just been sitting there. I haven't even fired it up, which is surprising because I love classic digital delays with analog feedback loops. I have a few others that I use more often, but after hearing this I will have to take the 1200 for a spin.
What’s the sought after one is it the SDD - 1000 ?
I've always been tempted by the SDD-3000. And it's re-issue in pedal format.
@@gstormelectro oh yes the sdd3000, the pedal form isnt the same ..pre amps are different
