Unfair test because you started at 0 with the yamaha and at 15 with the ktm
Der Unterschied ist auch noch das der Tacho von der Duke 125 bei 100km/h Tacho auch exakt 100km/h GPS fährt, wärend die MT 125 bei 100km/h Tacho gerade mal 94km/h GPS fährt.
Haben wir (und nicht nur wir) schon mehrfach getestet.
I was about to write that lmao, as a possessor of a duke 125 I have to say that the speedometer is 100% precise, while the mt125 one has an error of 5-10kmh going at 100

Gibt sehr selten Fahrzeuge wo die Geschwindigkeit 1:1 angezeigt wird

@@viktorf.3009 Ich bin auf einer gesessen und ich hab Videos geschaut wo mit GPS verglichen wurde. Und ob du's nun einsehen willst oder nicht, es war sehr wohl Tachoabweichung vorhanden😂
Tachoabweichung ist sogar gesetzlich vorgegeben, auch bei autos. Also hat auch die duke sehr wohl tachoabweichung.
Wenn man die fetten Spiegel an der Duke gegen kleinere tauscht, ist man 0,5 Sek schneller! Spaß ;) Cooles Video.
Never trust Yamaha's speedometer. It shows more speed than actual. KTM shows actual speed though.

Look.... Our intention was not to compete which engine was better. In this game, a lot depends on the biker and his way of shifting gears. both engines have the same specifications so i'm sure if there was the same rider on both the results would be about the same. 😊👍

Look, if you yamaha fans will sleep better thinking that the ktm is sht because of the 0-100 than let it be. But it's silly to talk about 0-100 with 125 cc bikes, they reach pretty good commuting speed pretty quickly, I drove a 2015 ktm duke 125 in the last two years and I can tell you that this bike is amazing, and I never felt it to be slow either.

But we all have different opinions all bikes are different
My wife's KTM Duke 125 shows the same speed as the GPS, while my Triumph Rocket 3R shows 5 more km/h on speedometer. I bet Yamaha has the same bias. Also not everything is about 0 to 100. The KTM Duke build quality is WAY over MT125. MT125 is full of cheap plastic that looks terrible and KTM's speedometer is generations ahead. Also for a small frame person the foot pegs are in the wrong position on MT125, you hurt your legs every time you get off your feet. These are the reasons in a nutshell why my wife went for the KTM Duke 125 (and also the god damn orange color on the frame :))

@@mathis1493 Don't take this for granted. Just put one near the other. It's what I did. I wasn't hell bent to buy a KTM. I went with my wife to test drive both of them and the MT125 made a sour impression with the construction quality.

@@mathis1493 Also I really didn't knew about where the 2022 model was manufactured. It seems that indeed there is an Indian version, but it is not what I have. Mine is manufactured in Austria. There are significant differences between the Indian and Austrian models. On the other hand, the Yamaha MT125 IT IS made only in India. I do not assume that's the reason for the "cheap" look of the MT125, because I saw some Royal Enfields that were pretty nice... The cheap plastics on the MT125 makes it look like a kid's toy, while the KTM Duke 125 looks like a proper bike. Actually, the Duke 390 is the SAME bike with a different engine.
I really don't know about how reliable a MT125 is, but I can say the KTM Duke 125 is pretty darn reliable. My wife put 11000 km on it in a half year, and drove EVERYWHERE I went. And I can tell you, in some cases did better than my Triumph Rocket 3R (unintentional off-road). ZERO problems, she just puts gas and drives.
