Arsenal winning was always going to be unbearable. It’s rewriting history to say that Arsenal fans are only annoying as a response to criticism.
But the real issue is that nobody above the age of 20 knows any City fans. Most of my friends are Arsenal or United fans. The rivalry that we have between us is real, not just online. They don’t want us to win and we don’t want them to win, it’s natural. And as I mentioned before, I literally bet my life that Chelsea would win another major trophy before Arsenal, so I definitely don’t want them to win 😂

Am a United fan who is actually wanting City to win today. I don't care if they didn't have history prior to this, they're making history in the present.
No English club has ever done a 4peat, neither had one done the Domestic Treble-City have done the latter, on the verge of the former and have also done the Continental Treble. They're creating their own history.
I used to begrudge Chelsea (I was 14 when Jose showed up the 1st time) but have come to accept that they did nothing wrong. I'd argue that the main difference between City and Chelsea is that the latter were a big club pre-takeover. Gullit, Vialli, Deschamps, Desailly and Lebouef all joined them in the 1990s. 3 of those were World Cup winners (including the captain Deschamps who to this day remains the youngest ever Champions League winning captain). The other 2 were a Balon d'Or winner and the last man to captain Juventus to a European Cup.
But can I really begrudge City who if anything, have shown everyone the blueprint for success (hire a winner to establish a culture of success and then build on it). If Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool wish to do this "trust the process" nonsense, why are we begrudging City?
They bought in Mancini to supplement the winners like Tevez & Kolo Toure who were there. He himself attracted winners like Yaya, David Silva, Clichy, Dzeko and Balotelli who in turn helped to do the following:
A. End the 40 year trophy drought
B. Enable the likes of Barry, Milner, Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott and others establish themselves as winners & leaders.
C. Attracted the likes of Nasri & Aguero.
They went on to win the League the following season. Winning breeds a winning mentality that flows through the club. Mancini departed a year after winning the League, but the die had been cast and winning seemed important. They also played a great style.
Pellegrini arrived and was more around the playing style. That's fine as the essential thing was to ensure that it was set up more for Pep. He still won trophies, including a League title.
If Manchester United fans don't take issue with appointing a De Zerbi rather than a Conte or Tuchel- how is that City's fault?

As an Arsenal fan I dont understand so much hatred against Tottenham. Its a local rivalry I understand. Because of it there will always be hatred, mocking, bullying etc. between the fans of two clubs. Tottenham never challenged Arsenal for any major success (only for UCL spot for few years). But still Arsenal supporters show so much hatred for them and focus on them when in reality they should focus on better clubs like city.
