In my opinion,I think bds is also a good option only if you are doing it from Government college rather doing it from private like from MAIDS or KGMC Lucknow etc are best bds college and their stipend are also high but for such colleges you should score atleast 600+-10 (general).

I have done my BDS degree from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh that is a central government college like BHU , BDS degree is good if u do for well reputed institutes like government universities or colleges only.... they also earn in lakhs...I am also earning...my seniors are well settled nd doing great in their career.

Ek bds karke kamm karne ko muje sirf assist karne milta tha aur 7k salary. Socha shayad pay jyada milega mds ke badh. Already do barr repeat kar chuki hu. Govt college ka jata hai bhai vaha fees nahi Dena padta aur stipend bhi milta hai 1 saal ka aur Bhai govt seats hai hi nahi dental ki itni ki cutoff Kam jaye 50 seats hai pure up me usme bhi reservation and all

@@DrArpitBankhede for freshly passed out it is less around 15-20k thats because they join clinic to get exposure and learn procedures once they are well versed with the procedures they usually are paid 30k in pvt and 60-80k in govt and some open their own practice. Same goes for mbbs first of all no one hire mbbs nowadays except for.govt that to contractual not permanent.

But its not that easy for country like usa asutralia and uk you have to give exam to practice which is very very tough and you have spend minimum 20 to 30 lakh just to clear exam again after clearing exam you to study more for 2 years even

Only 300 gov seats for PG if you are selecting private than you have to invest 30 lakh for one PG seat plus more 3 year of your life than also you have to invest minimum 20 lakh for clinic even you are very good in clinical only you will get 5 to 8 patient for next few year if you join private clinic you will get 30 thousand initially

First of all I would like to know about your field from which field of medicine are you pursuing your undergraduation?
Secondly, kindly open the book of Park for community medicine if you have some tini tiny knowledge about the book then BAMS BHMS BUMS is considered as indeginious practice of medicine. Now comparing BDS to it is like comparing veterinary to BDS OR MBBS.
And if salary is the only concern for a career kindly don't take any field of medicine cause every field is saturated go for IIM OR MBA!
