How to identify Pneumothorax in Chest Xray

Pneumothorax is a common condition in the Emergency Room. Identification of air in pleural cavity may be challenging sometimes, especially in a supine patient. Supine pneumothorax may be missed and it is important not to underestimate the signs in diagnosis of pneumothorax in a supine patient. pneumothorax may occur from trauma, iatrogenic or may be spontaneous sometimes.
