In 2nd attempt you apply base coat, and then cure it, then apply white polish and show its clean underneath. Which I understand to a point. Doesn't the base coat seal the sticker to the nail.? I've always pushed sticker down with a metal cuticle pusher, really firm, or else yes, it will go underneath. But I always remove sticker before curing, otherwise, I've cured the sticker to the nail.
Most people can't draw a straight line or part their hair perfectly so thinking you can just free hand two symmetrical lines on a small surface is insane especially for beginner I'll admit these stickers do seem far more tedious than trying it freehand sometimes but it is definitely help me get the hang of it

The white gel polish *always* seeps under when I do it. Of course there’s base coat but it makes no difference. I guess it just depends on the quality of the stickers. No matter how firmly I stick them down, I never a clean line. 😭

It's doing it on my dominant hand that gets me. I can do it on my off hand all day long, but trying to get a symmetrical full set 😭😭😭😭😭

True. I have the stickers but I've recently been learning how to draw freely and surprisingly not as difficult as I thought it would be.
A rounded brush makes it easier, put the polish down, then wipe extra, the brush will fan out and make the shape for u

Yall, on my opinion, no it’s not perfect but it’s better than mine. Plus who is gonna study your nails. For me this is an absolute win.
I would notice this on my nail & I would redo it till it's perfect if not it would drive me nuts

That is why I use only transparent nail polish when I do my nails by myself.

You can’t clean it up with acetone once it’s cured. That’s why applying base coat first was important.
