Will Parris represent the USA as a result of this competition, or will there be a repeat competition? Will Gable Stevesson not participate in the Olympics? Likewise, won't David Taylor participate in the Olympics? As a wrestling fan, I wonder about these. I would be glad if someone answered.
The US Olympic teams are set. Neither Gable Steveson nor David Taylor will be at the Olympics.
@@SiavashAgharazi Taylor and Gable not being able to participate will be bad for the rivalry in wrestling. The Olympic performances of these wrestlers are wondered by all wrestling fans. I think these selection competitions were a little early and untimely. Elite athletes are not in shape during this period, they reach maximum performance level close to the Olympics. It would have been a fairer result if it had been held a month before the Olympics. I'm not talking about Gable. He did not compete anyway, but it is a pity that Taylor, who is a very technical wrestler, could not participate in the Olympics. But of course, I congratulate the wrestlers who win the qualification matches.
@@ahmedsaideren6468 It's not like it was a surprise to any of the wrestler when the qualifying trials were. They all had the same amount of time to train. Taylor got beat convincingly and fairly, he just wasn't as good as Brooks. And Steveson never had a chance.
