Ilayaraja BGM added life to my films says Mahendran. Heartist chat features the Ace director J. Mahendran Part - 2 exclusively on Bosskey TV. Mahendran is regarded as one of the greatest film makers of Tamil cinema and has inspired many upcoming directors. He made an immediate impact with his first directorial venture Mullum Malarum (1978).
Mahendran entered the film industry as a screenwriter, written scripts for nearly 26 films. He has been an inspiration for the legends of Tamil cinema like Mani Ratnam and Rajinikanth.
His Nenjathai Killathe won three National Film Awards including the award for the best regional film.
Mahendran sir shares about the experience he had in the film Udhiri Pookkal, also he talks about the saddist characters he used in his films. He also shares about the story writing experience he had in Sivaji Ganesan's movie Thangapathakkam.

Thanks bosskey.....i always wanted to know more about mahendran after seeing his films....dream became true.... How movies are different he is too... May be if you had 2 more episodes I would have enjoyed even more.... His interview itself like a movie with lots stories.... Hi booskeyit's a great interview speaking more on rajini at the time of kabali release. Mr.Mahendran is a legend and I saw booskey keeping up ur mouth 👄 tight for the first time. Also at one instance when ur were discussing about the Sadistic characters, I thought u will ask whether he is such type in house, but I am sure u mind was dying to ask it. I just joined ur site , but I have been watchin ur programs quite long. All ur tryouts are great. I especially like the talku backu Mr.prasad simply impossible and also Mr.Neelu who reacts to his theory is great.I have become a big fan of ur TV . THANKS AND KEEP GOINGMANIMARAN
