Great stuff as usual - looking forward to the upcoming trips - nice round too!
This is definitely one of my favourite videos of yours. Amazing views.
Wow, what a magic spot....That rough is relentless - Good Vlog James. Looking forward to more of it.
What an amazing video and course, keep it up James 👍
Stunning course, enjoyed the vlog mate
Nice content James. Keep it going!
Hey mate! Great to see this part 2, I love the course it's amazing and I can't believe its just march and UK looks like that!! I really should travel to England to play next year =P hopely you're good!
Great video, showing the course and views. When the weather is good, think we are as good as anywhere in the world. Enjoyed it a lot again. Especially talking to the ball😉. Come on, admit it, we all do!
Stunning views and a lovely day too.
Brilliant!
My kind of golf. Played a few on the coast, in the summer usually at first light. Very good for the soul..I got the feeling you felt the same James. Very good to watch, glad you shared your thoughts on the shots. A+ here, cheers
great vlog!!!!
Good video James, played there about 10 Years ago and loved it, back in South Devon August Bank Holiday and after watching your vlog I will definitely be booking a round here as well as Dainton. Cheers Darren..
Cheers Darren! Enjoy your golf when you're down here! Hopefully you'll get some decent weather, not a better place to be when it's like this
Nice footage James. Made me check out the course !
Well worth a look Stewart!
Practice makes perfect mate!
00:46 that balance though, fair play on the strike! Love the videos your gaming swing with a little practice could be on point but understand the long drive stuff as let’s be honest... you’re a beast
Lovely looking course would be interesting to see how it plays when it's really windy. Great vlog by the way.
Yeah got it on a rare day here
Well played. Looks amazing out there. Millionaire Golf.
Good shit James 👊🏼
Great video. The beach looks like bigbury and bantham. Good surf there as well
That's the one, Bantham. Was proper clean that day too
Thanks for the opinion on the cheapo "tracer" tech--wondered about that. Thurleston added to the bucket list. Good playing, too! Enjoy the vlogs more than the long drive stuff.
Like this style of vid
Love all the videos you've done since the beginning back in the appearances on Marks channel as "Gorilla James" ..long time fan. Keep up the videos and the hard work.
Ahh day 1! Cheers for the continued support, big year this one coming!
@@JamesWiltshire Well good luck to you. You've improved a great deal
Nice vlog James, good to see a Prod insight into course management, club and shot selection etc, are you going to be playing more or just long Driving?
I payed $90 to play a muni course here in the Bay Area on Saturday, best view I had was the one in my rear view mirror as I left. This place is BEAUTIFUL.
James, enjoyed the vlog, you must have great eyesight finding that yellow ball in that winter turf.
Loved every minute of it. And that view! And you know what? I think I'd rather play there than at Pebble. Eventually I'll go to Exeter and play these great courses I see here.
I meant to say Exeter, which I just corrected, thank you MJ!
Thanks!
Nice seeing you just smiling and enjoying golf. #MoreAddictiveThanCrack ;)
Haha #notsureaboutthat
Congrats on your new partnership with Callaway , great achievement buddy
Thank you! 👍💪
Great stuff James, just so unforgiving in the rough stuff.
It's deep round here!
Looks like a lovely course.
Love seeing this so so much more than long drive stuff.
I think long drive is a waste of your talents. Unless youre so good at it to make a full time living, id just play real golf and enjoy it alongside some teaching.
Your swing too is so natural. Natural talent
Tbh I think most people enjoy it more than the long drive stuff. I'll try doing both for ad long as I can but I do want to get my real game together this year
Missed out on playing there last year! Definitely going to film there this year if your up for a match?
yet to play a course like this, do they ever have none windy days? must be a constant challenge! really makes you appreciate how good pros are when they hit great scores
You should challenge Mark Crossfield soon, let him know that you are the boss!!! Great sceneries in this video. Have to play that course. How do you rate this course compared to Dorlich?
Nice videos mate! Think this course has now gone on our never ending bucket list to play nevermind film ourselves! Also nice scoring! Getting your game in shape for the CZcams open? 🙄🙄
Yeah worth a pop mate, and yeah trying to get something together
I’m glad your making vlogs again. Why you not playing from the back tee’s?
These were the only tee's out, it's still winter time here
Just struck up on you're video's james ....... wow some of us can only dream of striking it that well, how far are you're drives going on the course?
Keeping my eyes peeled for next video 👍
Cheers Adam! New videos coming this week mate
Even the pro-tracer stuff on tv is fairly poor. Sometimes you can see the ball from certain camera angles and it is sometimes a third of the screen off from what the line is showing.
That looked like you were in actual heaven. All it was missing was the playboy model caddy and the Burger King stand at each tee.
need to play a course more than a couple of times to know your way around. First times is tourism
Agree - stay away from those bs ball tracer apps, just a gimmick. I feel the pain of being in the rough!
looked a good round for early time of year yeah keep practicing golf would be good to follow your journey playing more golf you look a great player maybe a little bit safer off the tee and and stop putting off the the green haha
Yeah my game is coming along, also I'm not putting from everywhere now I'm proud to say
😂😂
Awesome videos bro!. Just a little friendly suggestion ;) When you wanna film against the sun make sure that your brightness is in manual mode because the filters messed up your last holes and we can not see the swings or the balls when the sun is in the frame... And about the Shot tracer app . The app is using a complex algorithm and video tracing technology via the cloud Mesh processing power so I don't know who told you that it is just an estimation but they are incorrect. It is pretty accurate when it comes to shape and angle of the ball flight. It does not cost much to buy the app. Please just give it a try , believe me you would not regret it ;) It would really add an entertainment value to your already great content :)
Hey thanks for this comment, good but of info! I'll give the shot tracer app a proper go next time I'm out!
Do you ever have a solid shot? It’s a little stinger 280y 2 iron... what’s a stock/solid 2 iron?
How come your knock down 4 iron swing from 200 yards is the same as my 50 yard SW swing?! I’m crushing a 5 iron for that shot and it doesn’t look quite as refined as yours 😔
Just caught up with this video.
Dodgy course management (I think you may accept this) hindered you more than anything imo. That can be addressed.
That distance though 😮...what a weapon to have.
We all want you to hit more Drivers off the tee #nomore2iron
It's coming out more mate haha
COOL as you like on them 3 footers HAHA
Whats your current handicap James?
Technically a pro
Dont fancy playing there, they dont cut the fairways by the look of this?
We don't get to see a lot of fairways in this vid...he never hits them😂
"Slightly left"......finds himself in the middle of nowhere, 500 kilometres away from the course😂😂😂😎😎
That's how I roll 😂😂
Your FIR and GIR stats need a LOT of work.
You seemed to of highlighted LOT which suggests maybe my FIR and GIR really does need some work...
Just trying to make the point that I think you should work on accuracy more so than short game (at this stage).
