Here is my first few races from FH5's Series 6 update featuring the 2020 widebody Nismo GT-R where I also happened to be in a Forza streamer's lobby (geeterdonee). And all the strong drivers were stream sniping him!

The custom race addition is great. I still get beat by most everybody, but at least I can pick my favorite classes and types to lose in!

@@TehUltimateBlazer Unfortunately, i feel like nowdays, it´s 50% driver 50% car. Even if you race super clean, people will beat you in meta cars. Honestly, that´s one thing that keeps me from playing FH5, the meta is so boring...
@@RealLeskot I was about to say the same thing. They have those sweats that have to use the most op car over and over again. Makes the game stale fast. Choose something unique and you might have fun for once. Every race that I play and everybody's using random cars are the best races
Hey just google forza 5 meta cars spreadsheet. Use those cars and build for acceleration and launch. Don’t bother with downloading someone else’s tune. A couple more tips is off-road tires for EVERY b class, the cars aren’t fast enough to need anything else and they grip like slicks. Use rally tires for a class instead of slicks. I usually upgrade tire width on front 1x per class. So b to a 2x and make back tires one size larger than front, upgrade track width 1x on front and 2x rear. Pay attention to your upgrades, go for acceleration and launch. One last VERY unknown tip. The final drive tune is the only thing you need to touch and there are hidden spots where the 0-60 is a lot better. Usually way toward acceleration and a little to the right. With what I just told you, you should be at least 3rd every time

I have a suggestion. Try the c8 corvette with rally tires to drop it to A Class. Good grip and good speed make it a decent all around vehicle. It’s got a great launch for rwd as well

Hey grandma, been here since forever and i love ur videos so much! I don't have a lot of time to actually play forza but when i saw the Nissan gtr through the skill points i grinded my ass for a couple of hours and got it and i can easily say it's my favorite car by far. I've also got it at s1 road and the sheer controllability and power with the marginal understeer when u push it to the limit makes this car so nice to drive it has made me addicted.

Great racing as usual. Lately I've given up online racing in forza due to ramming. The last race I was in I was 2nd and got bumped into a wall and the game slowed me down for wall collision.
Same here. I got sick of racing clean and having the rest of the group being rammers and people too dumb to use brakes.
@@egglordsasuke8532 it's ruining the whole experience at this point. I'd rather have a ghost option like it is for drifting. There is a sense of accomplishment when passing opponents cleanly but getting a lobby with clean racers is highly unlikely.
It is so nice that now you can choose what type of race you want to take part in. Volcan is my favorite sprint.
GT2RS my favorite S2 car, GT3RS favorite S1.
and both are slow in this classes

Perfect, was about to install the new update, enjoy it just as much as ya’ll, apparently Horizon 5 got deinstalled by itself and now I can reinstall it, prolly need to wait like 3 days to download those 100+ GB again with my slow wifi. WTF.

Winning is goin to get much harder. Now that we can select the performance class, gd players with meta cars will make up for the majority of the lobby.
It would be nice to know what class I’m racing in. On a new account, where I only have 2 good cars (that I want to race) would be very nice.
@@arcticsun4204 you should probably grind the game a bit more. Get cars for each class. U can select the class u want to race in the custom adventure screen.

No complaints about your content or skills, but how you miss them checkpoints like that and it still say that you hit them is amazing. In the one clip that you showed the other guy miss it by nothing at a glance then see your next clips where you seemingly missed two and one by a country mile. What the secret
The only comment so far about that checkpoint in estadio circuit. Missed it by a mile and still counts.
If anybody's looking for ideas on a new ride, I was able to make a RWD setup for the 2017 black edition, with widebodykit and all in A class! I'm sure you can fit another year in there too if that one could fit! I think used drift tires but I could be wrong. It's no meta killer but an R35 in A nevertheless if anyone hasn't tried it yet! Some honerable mentions as well a regular RX-7, RWD in A with drag tires to make the stock engine competetive with some suspension/alignment/diff tweaking. You'd be surprised what you can do in sprints/street with drag tires on some cars in the lower classes lol.

As a Gran Turismo player I must say this looks stunning. It also seems to play like Need for Speed though.
It doesnt . It s much more down to earth realistic . U need skill to droft around corners . In need for speed it just happens ... u just handbrake and the game drifts for you .
If u want to customize it too this is much better u can pretty much turn this into an almost simulator game by turning off the various assosts it has. Depends on preferences tbh but its faaar from need for speed .
It has realistic functionality like GT but in freeroam like world. Just the feel for speed is more intense than Forza MS or a GT but its really fun and the tuning is *chef kiss*

too bad tracks get so repetitive and boring, same tracks over and over again, yet it’s a bigger map with so much potential, they should add custom made tracks that people make because it gets boring fast honestly! but atleast this is a start with added search filters finally!

Wasn’t a racing game but back in halo 3 devs would look at top made custom maps with game modes. If they seen the map was very glitchless and would work with 8+ players they’d add them on the weekend events for double exp. Forza could easily do this.
Too bad they didn’t have this in the game when it came out. I’ve already moved on from it, but this feature looks like a lot of fun.

Finally some B Road class lobbies for slower cars
For some reason this update with the fact that people can specifically queue up for S1 and A racing in droves now has made me realise just how shitty I am at the game; before I'd be comfortably placing 3rd-1st if I didn't make any mistakes, 5th to 4th with one rewind. I'm dead fucking last every single horizon open race now. Feelsbadman.jpg, just gotta get even better now (without using the OP meta cars and racing V12 AWD swaps)

for the imbalance portion, like you want to race a mid s2 car right?(for example a gt3 car) now imagine competing that with a gt1 car at le man's. it simply can't happen because you can't get the car fast enough for that so the car becomes useless and you can't race it. really wish we kept the old forza pi system.

Need a collision off mode. 50% of the race depend to the start grid, look at the first race on the video... Full blocking. The overtakes are dirty 80% of the time.. It's not racing for me
Without collisions, it's just time trial with extra steps. A penalty/reward system similar to Gran Turismo, while not perfect, is a whole lot better than what we have in Forza. Want to be matched with better players? Don't collide with them.
Ghost races will just flip the experience from being tedious and very annoying to tedious and boring.

It still hurts my feelings that there isn't enough love for C and D class cars to have lobbies for them also. I've had just as many fun races in slower cars as higher class ones. Plus I like the limited upgrade options in lower classes. I enjoy the little bit of added realism and it emphasises proper breaking and lines.
