+James Royce-Dawson Goosebumps was never scary. Even R.L Stine himself stated in an interview they are comedic with a slight amount of mystery. Funny thing is he is one of the major reasons the new film is taking more of a comedic tone because he would alter drafts that seemed too scary. After all this is for kids.
The difference is we can watch this right now and all we have seen of goosebumbs film is in trailers that are shorter than this video

Honestly the first time I experienced sleep paralysis I thought I was dying. Probably the most horrifying moment in my life.
+Mat Bird I just recently experienced it for the first time, maybe a month or two ago. I thought I was dying too. I even almost called a close friend in the middle of the night because I was so scared.
+Mat Bird I experience it quite a lot, i read that stress plays a big role. I figured out, that you have to keep calm and wait for it to disappear.. That helped me alot :)
Calm down its not gonna kill you. When it happens keep cool and don't fight it only makes it worse if anything try to focus on your breathing and try to wiggle your toe or fingers that will help you to wake up
Also when u wake up after having this don't go right back to sleep there's a good chance you will experience it again
+Mat Bird Strange. It happened to me only once. Years ago. I suddenly woke up and felt like I couldn't movie at all anymore. However, even if I didn't get what was happening, I was like "Meh" a few seconds later (I didn't literally said that, but that's how I felt). And then I closed my eyes to sleep again.
I don't think of being sucked into the book at the end, I think of jack black slowly sticking a book into my face and letting it sit there

I've actually experienced sleep paralysis, it was terrifying! I couldn't move my body and I felt someone keep touching my hand but I couldn't turn to look.
+Gravedigga63 I found making yourself shake rather force yourself to move helps, the real trick is to not panic and remember it.
if you look at it differently, you can turn a sleep paralysis into a lucid dream

I actually felt someone touching me too until i realized i was alone at home locked in my room, then the touching feeling went away but i was still paralyzed, i was WAY calmer tho hahaha, srs tho thought i was about to be raped....
I take really deep breathes and then I pray. It works every time for me.

I've seen so many "50 facts -------" videos and Vsauce videos, yet I remember very little of the actual information taught. That's why you don't "learn as much in one class", they drag it on through several classes, tests, homework, etc in order for the students to be able to remember and utilize the information.

It's considered the "teaching" cadence. It's a natural speaking rhythm for those teaching, typically in front of a camera as an attempt to signify what they are saying. Lots of education youtubers have it, Veritasium and Nerd Writer come to mind.
