- I've been playing a lot of live music but not recording much...full disclosure I nearly forgot how to use Logic! It took me a couple of tries but I got back in and figured it out. Anyway, for today's share: I got a request from a new friend via CZcams and I thought I'd give it a go. This is a tough one to sing...nobody but Melissa Etheridge can really do Melissa Etheridge, I think. I mixed up a couple of the lyrics and missed a chord, so let's just pretend this was performed live at the Farmers Market or something. No "do-overs" -- just for fun!
In other news I've had such nice comments on the "Mostly I Just Like You" track and had such a blast at the show I did last week where I played original music that I'm going to work on recording more. I have maybe 6 or 8 tracks I would feel good about making recordings for, so I think that'll be my summer project between working and gigging. I'm excited to get started...thanks for the support!!
