    We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows that particular bracket. If you have a Haynes or a Chiltons manual for your vehicle, it should show you the proper procedure for removing it. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

    I'm looking for instructions on how to do this in a 2008 Pontiac G6 GT 3.5 L V6... from watching this video, this engine looks very similar to mine. I understand they are GM vehicles but is there any variance to doing this in a G6?

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  Před 7 lety

      +ejreish The process should be similar based on the engine design. 1aauto.com

      ejreish did you ever replace your belt? My service is coming up to check/replace it. I would rather do it myself than pay a shop. Wondering how your luck went with it!

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  Před 5 lety

      +Robert Sakal At this moment, the closest how-to video we have to your request is for this vehicle, which is very similar to the one you have. The steps may not be 100% the same, but should contain an adequate amount of information necessary for accomplishing this task.

    i have the 2.2L and its almost exactly the same except after i remove the intake system there is this metal bracket underneath the intake system and its directly in the way. Is it ok to remove it?

    • @col1016
      @col1016 Před rokem

      That is your engine mount . If you are going to do it that way it is not recommended but makesure you have a jack (with a 2x4 10 inches long bracing again the oil pan.)
