Jimny - Struggling in the Snow and Ice

- Hey everyone!
A while ago, i was out playing in the snow, with my Humvee.
And that gave me the bright idea of taking my little, stock Suzuki Jimny out, to try some of the same obstacles.
I wan't sure this was going to be a video of it's own, but, now i had this footage, so you may as well get to see it!
The little Jimny did really well! But, of course, it had to fight a bit more, to get around.
Although, it was light enough, that in some places, it could drive on the ice! (That's a first for me)
But in the places where the ice had already been broken by the Humvee, just days before, the jimny didn't have much of a chance.
(And almost sunk sideways into a really deep Unimog Track)

Did surprisingly well given the tyres!!! We had an SJ410 on the farm and it's was pretty damn near unstoppable too!!
And to think that you walked more distance, to bring and get the camera to all the locations, than Jimmy drove. Thanks for sharing this nice evening snow mood.
Thanks so much for sharing footage of your Jimny. That is a cool little rig and i wish we could easily get those in the states. And it's always a good day when you can use one awesome off road truck to pull out another!
I'm always impressed by how well the Traction Control works.
Yes it works well, but also had to disable it several times because it was using too much engine power.

Great video. It is a mystery to my how some trucks hook up and some don't - some should...and don't and some shouldn't and do. It seems a bit of driver skill, tires, veh weight distribution and power, and well....luck!

Smid en OME undervogn på! Den blir ustoppelig i sand, mudder og sne. Og så blir den 100 gange mere behagelig på asfalt 😁
Det er også planen at det en dag skal ha' en anden undervogn. når jeg ellers lige får taget mig sammen til det :)

Well, unfortunately, the rack can not be bought. as i built it myself :)

Suzuki could have done better, at least it should have had a turbo on that tiny little petrol engine or made a turbo diesel an option, traction control is not very good and no substitute for locking diffs.
