- After arriving in Cozumel by taking the Ultramar ferry from Playa del Carmen we got settled in for a week at Casa Phoenix. On our day off of our Open Water Padi Certification class we rented scooters to tour the entire island!

Was there any time when you didn’t feel safe? Are there areas you’d stay away from? Looking forward to your future travels! 👊😎

If you are still out there. Is it just as easy to stay in Playa Del Carmen and just take a ferry to Cozumel? Just concerned about making it back for a flight out via the Cancun airport.
