I’ve always had a dog in my life and now at the age of 71 looking back I too can say my dogs have taught me more about love and compassion than I could ever have learned elsewhere.
What a lovely message. Thank you for sharing with us.
True 😍🤗🤗😍animals are innocent and therefore exploited.
@@devikakaul1494 Fully agreed
Absolutely...Same for me...and that's pretty much the same for every single animal in my life..whether it be wild or tame..they are my world....
My Beautiful Dogs which I have had since I was a child, who had been severely abused and had to learn to walk again at 6 years of age, Anoska, He was a big dog like a great Dane, but more lankey and they were used to protect the king in castles in the 1400+ century. He was so loyal to me and met me off the school bus every day. Next was Australian blue Merle which is an Australian sheep dog and highly intelligent. I have own Dogs that have been abused all my life and they All given ❤️ me so much love, loyalty and commitment 💯. 🤗I feel like I have been Blessed to have known them All.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Such a beautiful movie! When that wolf first appeared with a loving spirit to help Owen. I was completely captivated! Thank you
WOW! This movie is a movie about love. It is a movie for a strong heart. There are so many lessons in this movie. The scenery is beautiful and the actors you forget are actors. To me, it is a masterpiece. A hidden gem! Thank you.
Everyone involved with making this movie cared so much about the story, including the very talented actors and dedicated crew. Please share with your friends. Thank you.
This is a spectacular movie-beautifully written, lushly lensed by the Academy-Award nominated Rachel Morrison, and perfectly acted by Spencer Treat Clark and Andrew Wilson. It is a perfect little gem with a message which can't soon be forgotten, universal in meaning and applicability. Without remotely proselytizing, it delivers the message that there is healing in nature-and wild creatures particularly- which transcends any other "therapy." In our troubled times, it is moving and deeply meaningful. Don't miss it!
I absolutely love this movie.
The boy found his way doing what he found to love what he came to learn in the wilderness. His dad is a great role model.
I live nature. Thank you for sharing.
The more civilisation that is too much civilised the more human hearts are broken or lost. Thank you for this great film!
Thank you for posting!
That was brilliant. I saw it come up on CZcams for several days and didn't click on it because I thought it was about druids! And there was no wolf in the promo picture. I adore wolves and I loved this film. Good script, good actors, great cinematography. A pleasure from beginning to end. Thank you Indie Rights!
The script truly is the foundation of any film and the strength of the Druid Peak script is what drew the very talented actors and incredible cinematographer( Academy Award nominated Rachel Morrison) to the project. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
What a spectacular movie. Such amazing scenery filled with beautiful nature. Owen was a troubled youth without a care in the world. He became a kind, compassionate and dedicated man with a true heart to preserve our precious wildlife. Wonderful writing, directing and I can't say enough good thing's about all the Actor's. Absolutely perfect in every way 👏👏👏
Thank you for your thoughtful comments!
One of the best and most based movies out there really. Gritty story of redemption through nature. No frills, no nonsense.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts Lu Fo.
tis really does look good from getgo
I loved this movie. It's amazing how nature can calm a person's troubled spirit. To me, the wolf that helped that young boy when he had intended suicide, was a Godsend. Most animals sense a troubled spirit and there are those that seem to be able to speak to a broken heart ever so sweetly. All creatures are God's creation. It's man's responsibility to watch over nature and be good stewards. Loved the story and the heart of the story.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. We are so happy that Druid Peak resonated with you. Please share with your friends:)
He killed that boy Where the teacher go Glad to see wolves are back in nature Viva la Mother Earth to protect and serve Creation off God 🙏🏽❤💛💚
If we focused on what God intended for us, we wouldn't have the issues that mankind has created ... nor would the devil be able to wreak havoc on our souls.

This is such a great film. When they came across that wolf shot I cried for hour's. I LOVE WOLF'S. This movie ment so much.Thank You.
Chorou por horas ? imagino que não chorava por horas se fosse um filho. kkkkkkkkkkkk
I'm watching this film knowing a new dawn awaits for mankind 🙏I have dreamt of wolves two nights previous to finding this gem of a movie,I recently adopted two stray puppies in Asia where I now reside one is thriving the other is poorly after severe roundworms, they are my best friends...who am I kidding my only friends lol, they arey light and love in this very dark world, please pray for the health of my little girl puppy Suzie, she's so skinny and she just has to pull through she's so very very bright and only 7 weeks old I can't lose her yet and her brother has been so understanding and sweet with her illness love to all of you beautiful Gaia loving sweet sweet souls 😇❤️🙏

Now that's the way to teach conservation. Thank you.
This film is accurate and timely in a world suffering an environmental meltdown. I give it an all-around 9+ of 10 with a High five to boot.
What an amazing movie. This should be required in every high school, college and university across Canada and USA. What a humanitarian way of looking at nature and the world around us. Scenery is beautiful, the lessons shown are so heart felt.
Thank you, Denise! We appreciate you posting this.
Agree
spread out, go global. Australia has the highest rate of species decline in the world and only since colonisation a few hundred years ago. this land and waters ripped away from its indigenous caretakers. totems protect. realising how deep every single thing is connected and the creator made custodians of all of us. and just like in the movie, if there's not an Elder to guide the young how to nurture mumma earth and all that dwell thereon, it just takes one bad apple to spoil the whole box 😢❤
As the owner of three dogs and a fan of the Wolf Conservation Center in New York, I found this film to be very involving and moving.
We are also big fans of the Wolf Conservation Center and very happy that you enjoyed Druid Peak.
I usest to have a coydog best friend i ever had
But if you ever get the chance, go to Yellowstone! It’s amazing!
The father's declaration that, "Your intelligence is a gift, your ignorance is a choice" struck me as what I see going on a lot today. Perhaps it's because we lost our connection to nature
That is one of the lines in the script that engenders the most comments as it resonates with many people.
@@maureenmayer6989 ...yes, that´s because it´s profound.
@@georgelang400 Kudos to our writer/director, Marni Zelnick, on her first film!
Love this movie but also love the factual information about how Yellowstone had changed after
the wolves were released back into the park
We love your comment! That is the science that our screenwriter used as the basis for the Druid Peak script when she won the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation for Science and Technology filmmaker grant competition. Thank you.
ditto; I loved hearing of the ripples of change
I love the choices Owen decided to make. I've been living in a country situation since 1983 and I'll never return a city. The country is peaceful.

"Everything you don't learn in hard way you don't learn at all." . A movie can stay whole life with.
"Your intelligence is a gift but your ignorance is a choice." cool line 😊
Also, "Don't make assumptions about others, unless you like being wrong a lot"- 😳 woah
"I don't think there are good people or bad people. It's just the choices they make. Make better choices." Woah 😳
"It all comes down to this, we're all connected, in more ways than we think." woah 😳
That wolf at the end looked like the offspring of the one who saved Ownen's life (remember?). And it looked at Owen the same way as its dad did. 🥲
I loved this movie :-) :-) :-) The "Owen" is acting very well. The landscapes, Yellowstone Nature, the wolves, simplicity, the transformation of Owen in contact with his father and the Wolves and their spirit helping Owen to reconnect with his own spirit and his real self. Thank you so much for sharing 🙂

Truly captivating! 🦋 A very good story that takes us on an amazing adventure of redemption. ❤️
Making it was an adventure and sharing it means the adventure continues. Thank you!
Captivating is the word for it. All of the senses engaged. I don't know why a quiet nature scene is where the tears popped out. That's excellent story telling.
@@CHPete Thank you, Pete!
To all wolves lovers, there's brilliant documentary out there, about English scientist, who went whole way through with making himself one of the pack and learn theirs language - different howling, and the meanings behind them, then recorded, He tested it in Poland, give farmers the recording which said basically - this territory is taken - move on, and it worked,
Don't remember title of it, it was years ago, fascinating story
I have never heard this story but will try to find out more about it. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Beautiful. Couldn't go last couple summers due to Pandemic, price of gas, but, there is a Family of Wolves that live in my woods in Northern Maine. At the end of a beautiful day, at sunset, as their nest is on this ridge facing West, they do like a beautiful chant. The little puppies sometimes come running down a path next to my studio down to the woods....a neighbor says that is THEIR ridge, no matter who owns what....
We love your story and are so happy you enjoyed the movie. Than you.

Our DNA changes throughout our lives and we were already given DNA from our parents which was affected by their lifestyles. The food we eat, drugs we take, the nights we stay up instead of sleeping, all that and more shapes who we are.
Not everyone is so lucky! Not everything is down to a personal choice!
More and more people have tumours i the frontal lobe, affecting their emotions!
Some commit crimes due to tumours and an unbalanced behaviour.
We are all faulty, one way or another!
Forgiveness is the only gesture which can help this hopeless situation.

That specific line resonates with so many of our viewers. Thank you for posting and please spread the word about Druid Peak movie.Have a great day!
I’ve just re-watched “Druid Peak” (got the title right this time), and enjoyed it just as much as I did the first viewing. I know the actor’s name who played Owen-Spencer Treat Clark-and still don’t buy him as an adolescent, which was not meant as a slight to his acting… I also noticed that the date this came out is 2013, though it says 2015 above. (Maybe the distribution date is different)? Embarrassingly, in my previous comment I remarked on the lack of End Credits, and low and behold, this viewing, there they are! My only explanation for the oversight, is that I was fighting to stay awake by the end… (No reflection on the movie, I’ve just had a rough time recently). Thanks for this worthy Production, Indie Rights Movies.

I recommend this movie to everyone. I grew up having pets, cats, dogs and birds. I hate seeing people abuse animals, take a second to look into their eyes and you can see they have feelings and they want to be loved. I absolutely LOVE NATURE. I know it’s a movie but people can change if they have something to brighten their day and by having a pet or doing something to change the way people perceive wild animals.
Thank you, Rozlyn. Never underestimate the power of nature and the impact it has on people.

I will certainly add this movie to my collection. I am a avid hiker and explorer of the back country of nature. I lived and worked at the Grand Canyon for 6 years. i took advantage of exploring much of the back country on the rim and inner canyon. Explored Flagstaff area and Sedona. This movie and it's characters summed up the discovery of the wilderness and find one's self. Beautiful.

It got my attention to hear that everything is conected, that makes a lot of sense, we are part of the world and the Universe, nothing is out there by chance, neither we are, to take care of the world is to take care of us first, protecting nature, not to exploit it.

Though I enjoyed the film, that scene bothered me : There is simply no way the boy could have kept up with the wolves! It was also too soon in his character’s arc, to be so expressive and wild and free… I think it would have made more sense as a dream sequence, foreshadowing his imminent emotional growth.
Wonderful movie....such a peace brought forth by being close to nature!
