I would bring the bare minimum and take the opportunity to shop overseas...packing less leaves space in your bag for any purchases. I go to Europe every summer and bring 1 neutral dress, 2 bottoms, neutral & stretchy and 2 nice knit tops. A jacket and a dark pair of shoes and a light pair of shoes (tennies, sandals whatever). Remember- no one where you are visiting will be seeing you more then once or noticing you in the throngs! The first couple of times I obsessed about packing but now realize that less is more and there are laundromats every where!
Thank you so much this is so helpful! I have always struggled with overpacking so definitely need to really make sure I only bring what I truly want and need! And I am hoping to do some shopping but we are going to a small island so I don't know how much shopping there will be! xx
If you're biking far distances daily, I would avoid long or voluminous skirts/dresses because they can get dirty, get caught in the bike chain and/or catch wind and blow around. I bike almost every day and prefer jeans, trousers or shorts and shorter dresses and skirts worn with bike shorts underneath. I actually really want a workout wear/tennis dress for my longer bike rides (like the lululemon Align dress), that could be easily dressed up with a blazer.
Also, I've tanks from Massimo Dutti and they are good quality! On par with Djerf Avenue in terms of thickness and opacity. But for something cheaper, have you checked Gap or Old Navy?
I have since purchased some more pants and shorts off the realreal so waiting for them to come in cause I totally agree! I definitely need to bring some other options for the long bike rides! And I haven't checked gap or old navy yet but maybe I will stop in this week and see what they have! thank you!

You would need cycle shorts under the black mini dress.
I love the red too but ended up getting the cream because it just felt more me! And yes I will be purchasing some bike shorts to wear underneath my shorter dresses! thank you! xx

You know that TJ Maxx is a liquidation store (accepting stock from other brands) so therefore they do not produce stock themselves? Just saying as I don't think that French laundry one is unlikely going to be in most stores.
