- Could the 330 Scandianva be the cleverest sub-11m boat on the market? In this in-depth review, we walk through the features that make the 330 Scandinavia such a brilliant piece of design and take it for a sea trial to see how it performs out on the water.
As this tour shows, the 330 Scandinavia boasts year-round usability thanks to its versatile main deck, which converts in a matter of minutes from a fully enclosed wheelhouse to an open deck arrangement.
It also has two double cabins and a convertible dinette in the saloon, creating the possibility to sleep six adults on boats. A good selection of single and twin-engine options from Volvo Penta and Mercury completes the picture.
If you’re thinking of buying a new or used Marex 330 Scandinavia, watch our review for the YachtBuyer verdict and be sure to follow the link below to the YachtBuyer website for Jack’s in-depth written review of the Marex 330 Scandinavia.

Nice review! Just had to chuckle at "separate shower cubicle", when it clearly is a tube, shape-wise. Really like the Marex boats!
Excellent presentation both on the water and off. I especially like that you give pricing information- most other reviewers do not.
Glad you're enjoying the videos Peter, plenty more to come!
So happy to find this latest review of the wonderful Marex 330, and more importantly, the new channel! Nice to have you back!
Thanks for watching! - Jack
Marex do it so well and the cockpit canopy is fantastic. 👍❤️🇬🇧
Great review - liked the Marex more than I expected.
Great video Jack. You always seem to get into all the nooks and crannies to provide the datails that an owner would appreciate. Of course top notch reviews of all the amenities that make the boat under review stand separate amongst the others in her class. One of the things that make YB stand out amongst other reviewers is your sea trials. The amount of time and effort you and your team at YB put into this is grand. You provide detailed information in piloting the boat and touch on all from the dock to running flat out. I appreciated your videos with the "other guys" but you have come into your own here.
Looking forward to each video YB produces.
Thanks for the kind words, David, much appreciated. - Jack
The best view of the boat. Thanks! Happy holidays )) 🎄
Same to you!
What a great review! Thank you Jack. Its so lovely to see my baby getting such praise.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it - Jack
Great review and presentation Jack! Helped a lot. Love your Videos!❤
Glad it was helpful, thanks Alex! - Jack
Nice to see you back Jack. Fantastic review as you’d expect from one of the very best in the business, the boat isn’t bad either. Super impressed with the production values and camera work of this video. Good luck with the project and look forward to watching the rest of your videos.
£4,500 for solar panels though 😮
Thanks for the kinds words 😊 - Jack
Thanks jack, nice review and hope to see more of this sort of size/budget. A good challenger imo and very similar are the Grandezzas which share a lot of common features and qualities of the marex. They certainly know how to build boats in Northern Europe.
Thanks John - lots more to come of all shapes and sizes! I’ve tested a couple of Grandezzas and they’re good boats. We’ll definitely look to review them on the channel/website. Thanks for watching! - Jack
Define lucidity!! Jack Haines does this superbly.
Thank you! - Jack
amazing video, thanks. Would love to see your channel review the Sargo 36 at Boot Dusseldorf
Awesome reviews as usual, so glad I found you here Jack, missed your reviews, always th best.
Any chance you can can do a review of the Aspen CAT 107? Or any Aspen CAT for that matter.
I love this Brand. Cant wait to see their 420
Very glad to see you again Jack! Best wishes.
Thanks! - Jack
Fantastic review. Not so sure about the background EDM but hey:)
I love this boat would this be ideal for a beginner I get the impression it would great video as usual jack
Great Job excellent review
Thank you!
that for the size , so well thought out
great boat, i love Marex! Great vidéo. If i have money to change my "old" Princess Riviera 286", Marex is my favorite Brand
Thanks for this. Very interesting. Looking at sub 35ft, and I like the Marex 330 and the Sealine C335. Are they competitors would you say?
I’m no expert at all! Any others of that style/size (with a rear door to saloon) that you’d consider? Appreciate any thoughts/advice. Thanks
I love this boat
Great review and good to hear you back giving your splendid reviews again. 👍🏻👌
Thank you - Jack
Great boat.
Superb video. If I had one small criticism it’s background music. In my opinion you don’t need it and it starts to get really annoying if you zone into it.
Thanks for the feedback Gary, really appreciate it!
I wonder if they'll give the 375 the same treatment
Nice to see SOMEONE in Scandanavia paring their amazing designs with options other than stern drives. I know Nimbus makes their TCW series with outboards, and they’re coupes with straits, but my word, everything else for Targa, Sargo, etc… Stern drives all day long.
I won a Volvo stern drive. It’s a fucking nightmare.
Oh. Of course. No USA dealers at all. *sigh* We have the biggest out of EU Targa, Sargo and Nimbus dealers in the PNW, but no Marex.
What a great boat. It’s kind of like Sargo and Nimbus had a baby. Bummer.
Wow. So little cooling/freezing space. Basically the same amount of refrigeration as on an Antares 8? Don't think that would cut it for a long weekend for four people.
Is MBY done ??
Nice looking boat. The only thing I don’t like is the squared off corners of the low lying ceiling in the second cabin. Potential safety hazard. Most other small boats with similar layouts have more rounded corners.
Jesus the price of Marex boats have gone up in the last couple of years 😮😮😮 Nice boat though 👍🏻
Is there a CZcams reviewer that rates best quality built boats?
Where over a period of time, the boats are not falling apart, delaminating, structural soundness etc….. every CZcamsr I see is usually a good review with a few changes they would like to see. I’d like to see honest experienced opinions on structure and materials and what companies are the forefront in build quality.
Good question, we’ll think about how we can cover this. Generally we are reviewing new boats and only get a day with them when we do get them on test, so assessing long term build quality is tricky. Maybe there’s something to be said for us catching up with a new model a couple of year after it’s launched to see how it stands up to the test of time?
Price??
Nearly half a million???? Hahaha next!!!
Exposed screws on the inside of the helm door? YUK
All those clever design features go some way to justifying the price - you spend more time enjoying boating rather than faffing about with awkward jobs.
Ridiculous price…pathetic actually pure robbery.
