Remember guys if it's the same name but looks different then it's a regional form. Different name then it's a completely different pokemon. Even some regional forms evolved into a completely different pokemon.
Yeep, convergent species/evolutions vs divergent species/evolutions! Its so neat that Pokémon has started incorporating even more aspects of animal biology into their concepts.
And that is why wigglet isn't digglet
@@saadmaute6536 that was just a mistake
@@shadowmcphantom No, in the trailer it was stated that Wigglet is completily different pokemon from digglet
🤔Like people?
The regional forms was one of the best ideas that Pokémon did
I hate it so much. It drives me up to the wall that previous regional variants aren't accessible at all despite being coded in unless you transfer directly from previous gens. I'm so glad Paldea has so few of them.
@@dundee6402 You hate them or you hate that you can't get the ones from previous games
it clever and makesence for animal have supspecies or variant
people call it lazy recolor but they still need to working on it tho
make new lore/animation/ability etc.
it not just copy/paste
it so fascinated
I wish pokemon home was compatible day 1
Fun fact about wooper/clodsire! They both can still have the ability water absorb, making them really good choices if you are looking for a ground or poison type (from what I've learned), since water absorb gets rid of their water type weakness.
It's only weak to Ice, Psychic and Ground with water absorb
True i have one with it
I have one with poison point, but I’m still using it because that’s useful too
@@ordersquid38 luckily i got one with water absorb lol
Poison Point is very useful
Gotta say, the new models/animations for the older pokemon look so good.. My shiny glitchy lil luxray looks great, and I'm glad to see other pokemon that weren't in arceus getting the same treatment
Alolan raichu looks like a better pawmi evolution than its own
I hope he in scarlet violet it’s dam good physic electric
pawmi just... start standing up when he evolve
@@Flamarix still the best pika clone though its even the first electric fighting
@@IMSAYINGNO7864 i'm pretty sure it's the first one to evolve, too,
@@Flamarix yea
Wow, the list of regional forms are growing.
Just 4 new regional forms for paldea
Unless dlc comes
@@vitopasco8266 *2 new mon with paldean regional form
Toedscool and Wiglett are cases of convergent evolution, where a completely separate species evolves to have similar traits to another.
Toedscool isn’t a regional form.
indeed, its a convergent specie
Yeah neither does wiglett
also Perrserker
🤓
@@ja1207 I don't know about that, it's really just Galarian Meowth's equivalent to Persian.
Meowth can be put in a whole team of Meowth forms
And we thought Charizard and pika got special treatment...
Cap Pikachu? Gmax Pikachu? Cosplay Pikachu? Pikachu clones? Let's Go Pikachu? Pokepark? Hey You, Pikachu? Pokemon Channel? Detective Pikachu? Pokemon Yellow?
Because they fucking do? Meowth having lots of forms doesn't mean it got special attention that Pikachu and Charizard didn't. Also, REGION CAPS! Pikachu has WAY more forms than Meowth anyway!
@@magical_mofo And on that note: GM Charizard, two megas for Charizard, literally been in every single game, etc. Meowth is back burner by comparison
@@SnoFitzroy indeed
What's confusing is that Eevee, which is literally genetically unstable, has 0 regional variants. Meanwhile Meowth, which most likely is genetically stable, has 3, with one of them having it's own evolution.
Awesome. I can finally get Alolan Raichu without having to buy an expansion pack.
It has to be transferred in from another game and is not obtainable any other way
@@seanmurphy8202 Well that's a shame.
Same thing with how Alolan forms were handled pre-DLC in Sw/Sh. Fortunately, transferring between Switch games is free, so you don't need a premium plan for this.
@@samyb4566 Just transfer one in from let's go it's really easy to get them in that game.
You could have in SwSh as well
it's a miracle alolan meowth made it, it's my favorite pokemon
Spain has royal people too
They always put all the forms if a pokemon is returning
@@737Igi69 Not if we count Legends
@@Noctis-fr3uc yes but it is kinda a spinoff game so it does not really count
@@737Igi69 yeah the developers were lazy making animations
Wait a minute. Scyther kind of has paradox forms, becuase cleavor is it’s past form and scizor would be it’s futuristic form
But Scizor exists in Hisui also!
@@ricardoss348Only through space time distortions
That makes sense, actually
That's not how paradox forms work.
No? they are evolutions of scyther, not a past/future version of it.
I am loving the texture upgrades
love how they came up with something new that was a risk because pokemon fans are sooooo nostalgic and strict, but this makes total sense, always a fun biological or plot background, i love it, so organic
You can actually acquire the Hisuian forms in Scarlet and Violet? I was actually hoping that would happen.
Actually, you can’t.
But they can transfer over from Legends once HOME become available for S/V.
Ye same as you can all the legends from sword and shield
@@magentaface2750 Really? I mean, with the amount of Pokemon that have either a Hisuian form or a Hisuian evolution, and how nearly every Pokemon that has those aforementioned forms in this game, AND how this game focuses on Past vs. Future, you'd figure that this would be an obvious thing to do.
They're planning on making home available for the new gen next year
@@magentaface2750 you can i saw it
Hi. This is amazing.
This is going to be epic!
@NintendoUnity, will you be doin a video of how to ge these different variants?
Toedscool is so funny, i love the idea of a walking tentacool, pure comedy
It's disappointing that in Paldea we just got 2 regional forms, what is a thing that the pokemon community actually really loves. I think the pokemon company gradually, will forget this mechanical, sadly
I dont think will see it go I think it just took a step back because of convergent species being a new thing. For sure it'll be back in the next game and they'll probably add more.
i think we only got 2 because of convergent evolutions and paradox forms this gen which fill similar purpose
To be honest, I'm not upset we already got a huge dump of regional forms earlier this year so I think we're good.
To be honest, this game has too many form variations... Convergent evolutions, past and future paradox, and regional forms... I know paradox pokemon aren't forms, just like convergent evolutions, as they are completely different pokemons, but they are merely using past designs in the absence of creativity.
@@theyounglinker5044 don't regional fakes like wigglet
Tentacruel is now in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet games thanks to the DLC
How is it possible to get not just Hisuian/Paldean forms, but also Alolan and Galarian forms in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? (Also for Pokémon Sword and Shield)
Toedscool is so funny, i love the idea of a walking tentacoolm pure comedy
Hisuian Zoroark, Alolan Ninetales and Galarian Rapidash are my favorite regional forms.
They're so cool and idk why, i like things with flowy hair.
I know it’s not likely, but will we perhaps be able to transfer certain Pokémon to Paldea via Pokémon home? I’m talking things like hisuian forms and Pokémon from sword/shield save files.
yeah all the hisuian mons can be transferred. not everything in sword and shield can be transferred but a lot of it can, and DLC will add more mons to the game
Wow i really missed out on pokemon lately. Why do i only know like half of them..
Because since yesterday we have 1010 pokemon instead of 905
Anyone else feel like a Future Haxorus could've worked well in this?
Will you make a video with regional evolutions
Zapdos: who are you?
Galarian Zapdos: I'm you but I go MEEP MEEP
Que bueno que metieron las formas regionales
Eso tiene k ser pirateado , no se pueden tener todos esos pokemon , no estan en la pokedex dialaga etc
I’m so happy That these are in scarlet and violet
I really want alolan raichu in Pokémon scarlet and viloet
How do you get the birds in the game are they in the wild or somthin like rockruff?
How did you obtain the Alolans, Galarians, and Hisuians? As far as I know, they arent released yet
Looking at the comments you have to trade them over from other games.
Wait, why the hell isn't Tentacool/Cruel in the game if its convergent counterpart is in? kinda odd to add original diglett to go with Wiglett but not Tentacool with Toedscool.
Because tentacool and tentacruel are fucking annoying. You go into the water for 3 seconds and you encounter one because they blend in with the water. Keep it out of the game.
@@PeyPeySupreme theres always annoying Pokemons in water and caves... remember zubats in sooo many games/gens?
im glad the damn zubats are not in SV
question, Can I capture Hisuian Zoroark in Pokémon Scarlet or do I need to transfer it?
Currently unobtainable, this was done through hacking. But you WILL be able to transfer sometime in 2023 when home becomes compatible with Scarlet/Violet
Where are Alolan Exeggutor, Alolan Marowak, and Galarian Mr. Mime?
I guess they don’t live in this region not even Alolan Vulpix is here
*ARE, NOT IS! WRONG WORD!*
So no one's gonna talk about how my boy Alolan Sandslash didn't make it
@@Amelia4111 🤓
They arent in scarlet and violet
What song is playing in the background?
I really hope we get Ponyta back as well
Basculegion battle cry is it screaming angrily.
Please tell me what the song is I have to know

what a great theme you use, can you tell me the name of the sdtck ? ty bro you're awesome

Teddsura+50 Teddsura candies=Ursaring+100 Teddsura candies+full moon=Ursaluna
I feel lied to... some of the first trailers for this game were showing off Hisuian Zoroark and its NOT gonna be in the base game?! We have to wait till early next year for them?! How does that make any sense?!?!
Alolan Raichu is SOOO CUTEE
Howndo you get the galar birds on scarlet/violet home doesnt support it yet
What does the padlock next to the pokemons gender mean?
Tentacool/Cruel, and The Zubat Line not being in game is foreign to me considering Tentacool, and Zubat were seen all over Hoenn, in caves and deepwater.
Feliz Páscoa pra
I think maybe the tentacruel line would be available during dlc
I didn’t even notice they weren’t available in Paldea.
I love paldean tauros its my favorite regional form closely followed by galarian moltres
Alguien sabe como se consigue a articuno galar ?
Finally I can transfer my alolan muk into a game on switch
How have they gotten these forms already? Pokemon violet/scarlet isn't sync with homes yet
They exist, you just can’t transfer them yet
funny obscure magic
it’d be cool if the galarian bird trio had their kantonian typing as their tera types lolll
Perrserker isn’t a regional variant, it’s a completely separate Pokémon, even if it evolves from a Galarian Meowth. Same goes for some of the other Pokémon you included. If a Pokémon has a completely different name, it’s not a regional variant.
How do you get the other regional like Galarian Moltres or johto wooper and more?
All of these were hacked in except johtonian wwooper and galarian meowth. To get wooper you have to trade an npc a flabebe
Galarian Moltress is transfer only from sword and shield to home then to SV but that wont happen till 2023
How do you get the Hisuian form of Zorua and Zoroark?
I was hoping I didn’t have to trade it in, but I guess I don’t have a choice.
i wouldn’t even be surprised if all the hisuian forms and pokemon that originated in PLA are exclusive to scarlet
how do you get alolan raichu? it’s my favorite pokémon
It is too bad that Alola Geodude wasn't in the game.
Collector: How to evolve Alolan Meowth and Galarian Slowpoke? I tried
how docyou get alolan raichu, its my favorite pokemon and i cant find out how
How do i get that Raichu? i have the pikachu from gift.
Which Zorua are we going to get?
Where can I get the Alolan Raichu?😭
How did you get an Alolan Raichu?
I'm VERY interested in that black Tauros. Fighting type you say?
All of them are fighting which i love
Correct, and there is a small chance that the leader of a Taurus herd will take on a different form gaining blue highlights or red highlights and other features while gaining the Fire or Water type. (Water, Fighting Tauros (blue) is exclusive to Violet and Fire, Fighting Tauros (red) is exclusive to Scarlet.)
@@PeyPeySupreme Interesting. Then it is the LEADER I shall try and capture!
How do you get Alolan Raichu in Scarlet? I could actually use that Pokémon in my team!
you cant.. not until spring when Home is released.
this guy in this video hacked/used cheats to get these before Home is released
@@heyjeySigma it's been like 3 months rn, is the regional pokemon now available in this game like hisuian lilligant, alolan raichu and alolan meowth?
How did you get them??
So you can trade Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia in the game? Nice. Arceus with Legend plate is said to be tradable soon.
Is Pokémon home compatibility already out?
Next year
Man I wish we got more paldean forms :(
Pretty sure DLC will add more.
@@zenvariety9383 yeah probably
@@zenvariety9383 Hopefully 🤞
Think the reason we didn’t get a lot of Paldean Forms was because maybe they were more focused on the Paradox mons.
@@zenvariety9383 Yep! Theres a very high chance for that since there are a very little paldean forms

Me:busts in with my starter and a level 21 alolan raichu transferred from let’s go.
How i transfer the pokemons the game don’t appear in Pokémon home
Do the old poke balls from legends that they were caught in come back to scarlet and Violet??
No it automatically turns into the mystery ball or whatever it’s called
The slowpokes bit eachothers tails too much and now they don't have one
I just don't know what were they smoking making thay galarian meowth 😂
How did you get the 3 kanto legendary birds and their galarian forms?
And the other legendaries too, of course.
@@keepitsimple8568 oh
My guess Tentacool evolution will be in indigo disk
(Well idk)
Pretty sure Toedcool and Toadcruel aren't regional variants but convergent evolutions like Diglet and Wiglet.
DIGLETT AND WIGLETT ARE SUPPOSE TO END WITH 2 T'S EACH! DO NOT LEAVE OFF THE S IN TOEDSCOOL! AND IT'S TOEDSCRUEL, NOT TOADCRUEL! FIX IT NOW!
@@Amelia4111 Maybe I would have if you asked nicely, but I definitely won't be doing it now.
Why are typhlosion flames not lit like in arceus?
They should have made the third tauros form fighting/grass instead of plain fighting
so dissapointing there’s like 3 painted black tauros forms, barely any diff to each other it’s crap and a grass one would have been sweet

How u find alolan Raichu
Wheres the music from?
I'm confused on how poke on like dailga and palkia have regional forms
Just
How
Do they transform into a different form when they go to a different island or something?
Are their multiple of them
These aren't regional forms. They are their origin forms like Giratina's Origin Form. These forms were introduced in Pokemon Leagends Arceus.
Wait, is Pokemon Home already linked to SV? I thought not until shortly next year.
Next year, yes, these are hacked mons
They literally did go that route with pooper wooper and its evo lmao. I called it
Question, Y’know, the dragon/grass type that looks like a tall palm tree? Do they have alolan exeguttor in Violet and Scarlet?
nope alolan executor isnt in the game... neither is regular executor. The alolan one is pretty cool tho looks NOTHING like a dragon lol.
but it sucks cause its 4x weak to ice.
@@heyjeySigma Ah I see, Thank you for answering. :] Right? It doesn’t look like a dragon. I suppose it was based on Dracaena palm trees known as ‘dragon palm trees’? Funny fact.

Finally someone explained it to me … I was like hold up the legendary birds for sure arnt in the game and a few others … so I have to get them from my Pokémon home to put them in the game?
What the music name ?
My favorite part was when they showed the Galar forms
Wow for once the tentacruel line is not in a game (I'm not including the mushroom thing)
How do ya get the alolan raichu in violet?
