Might want to watch it when you’re cooking that close to the mattress. Aside from the possible fire risk , you might want to lean a sheet pan or something between the stove and mattress just to keep it from getting nasty from splatter.

I imagine there are at least 100 family members in that hospital who’d give anything to have their own stealth camper in the parking garage. I worked for the Duke Bone Marrow transplant clinic and most of our patients were there for weeks, or months, with a caregiver, and limited family and friends. Hotels get expensive quick! Bravo! I seriously doubt a parent or loved one would be shooed away by anyone on the hospital campus.

@@deadly_mir Yeah. Seems weird to me as an Australian. Car parks may be private property but they're treated as public property. Never seen one with security either. But different countries with different attitudes I guess. We tend not to care about people camping outside of designated areas unless they look, or are doing something suspicious.

I knew you were making chicken adobo from the ingredients you pulled. Well, I had a good idea. If you pulled down vinegar, then that would have cinched it! Watch those whole peppercorns! I usually set those aside. In our version, we lock in more flavor by either frying in garlic before braising in the marinade, or frying at the end when nearly cooked and most of the marinate had evaporated. House smells really good while cooking.

Yo I was hoping for rat tales part 3 but hyped to see you cooking adobo. Try cooking it with the bone-in chicken thighs for max flavor, also if you add in some chopped potatoes it makes the sauce thicker and tastier.

I had an apartment in that area. In the winter they power it up and down all night. Yeah I didn't sleep well either. When I worked there I parked in the lot right under the landing pad. That down draft in already -30 below is an experience one doesn't soon forget.

you should see about getting some spacers or helping springs for the rear. sounds like youre hitting the bump stops everything you hit a bump.
Some small helper bags with a fitting for a bike pump would be perfect back there. Or get coilovers made with specific spring rates from a company like BC Racing

Damn, a parking ramp would have been the ideal place to camp. Again love the cooking portion of the program, makes me hungry. Hopefully truck will be all fixed up and back on the road soon

Hospital Parking lot is pretty good spot actually. I have seen many times families camping out in their car when they have a loved one in the hospital but can't afford to stay in a hotel or just want to be closer incase something happens.
Hell sometimes I would find medical students, nurses and or physicians also just chillin in their cars during the evening when they have long shifts or on a 24 hour rotation. So even if security would drop by they would probably not think much of it.

Just a note. Hospitals probably won't bother you because sometimes people do sleep in their vehicles and RVs in the parking lot because they have someone they love in the hospital.

I became emotional when watching this video because it reminded me about a young person who had the same dreams but unfortunately she's no longer alive to pursue them because her life was stolen from her. One time I suffered through an appendix infection on a camping trip. Constant pain and diarrhea. Eventually I just brought a massive bottle of water, ran the short distance to a bush and then washed it away afterwards. Rough times :(
