Congrats brother! Got my first crk back in October a large sebenza 21 insingo Blade.. Mine has got better but still not loose, I can flip it no problem. Take it apart and clean that factory grease out, put it back together with 10w nano oil it's a different knife then

micarta gets darker from moisture and hand oils. They prolly just oiled the micarta to darken it up for ya.

Why make it a different knife ? Crk makes a knife a certain way for a reason.
