How to Install Borla S-Type Cat Back Exhaust 2020 Durango R/T

- Full install video of how to install this Borla S Type system on a 2020 Dodge Durango R/T. Mega improvement regarding the sound and also throttle response after. Biggest recommendations would be to cut the factory exhaust at the passenger resonator location for ease of removal, and then installing from the back with the cat back mufflers first then moving forward.
Installed the S-Type Cat Back system on my 2022 R/T and the sound is fantastic here in Germany, especially going down the autobahn at 130 mph.

Are those SRT wheels? I did Brembo brakes on my RT and had to use 1.5" wheel spacers. I just bought Spider Monkey SRT wheels (20x10) so I could delete the spacers. Very Clean Durango!!

Good recommendation maybe so, they special cars to my wife’s family will see if they want to do closer feature but they are worthy of it.

I have a 2022 Durango R/T 5.7, what weather tech mud flaps did you use, on the website it says will not fit R/T or SRT.
mine is a 2020, i actually have a sponsor with weathertech so i’m not sure exactly which ones they sent. you might just have to wait for them to build some for your year because they did change the body style!

i can’t remember my tire size since it’s been almost a year but they are toyo proxes on some wheels from velgen! check out kowperformance for any upgrade parts for your jeep or durango! awesome company!
Exhaust is nice but question why are the tips crooked sideways a bit I do t like that that’s why I’m debating going straight pipe so the tips are straight
They aren’t crooked they sit centered and even in the bumper reveals for the tips. Not sure what you’re seeing

Any issues with rattles? I get this intermittent rattle noise while idling at a light its so annoying.
Sometimes the driver side tip pulls against the inside of the reveal as if it was pulled inward towards the license plate and vibrates the back bumper area and I have to push the tip and stretch it back out towards the wheel and it re centers and eventually moves back and touches again after a week or so 😤

so i just installed this system on mine today, cant say im happy with it. mines just as quit as the oem setup, can u hear your exaust inside the durango? ive watched a ton of vids on this exhaust and mine dont sound as loud as any of them
if you did the same thing we did I'm not sure why yours is so quiet, yes we can hear it in the car. At idle no, but once the car is accelerating and especially going hard you hear it way good
@@FanelliRestorations ok. Thanks for the reply. Im not sure what the issue is with mine is but the only time u can hear it is when your at wot. I will be switching back to my modified oem setup.
@@speeding4fun best recommendation is to keep that new exhaust on and order the $300 Mopar Cold Air Intake. That should help big time. Maybe even a Dyno tune after and you should be good to go and it'll be faster and definitely sound extremely aggressive.
I personally have a 2015 RT Durango the V8 5.7L Hemi set up. RWD. I have stock exhaust. No Tune. I do have the Mopar Cold Air Intake installed though and just with the Intake installed it sounds amazing when I take off eco mode and turn off traction control and take off 🥵

The brushes are soft and we wash them out before using them. I polish the cars and detail any scuffs anyway 💪🏼
Those car wash brushes can be dangerous. Those off road boys leave rocks in them.
Yea that’s why we thoroughly spray them off with the power washer before using. If I get a scratch I can always detail it

Oh no the muffler is scratched.😂 bro crawl underneath my suv and look at my mufflers. 😂 car and suv guys are the biggest whiners. Diesel owners couldn't care less that the exhaust is scratched.

No, just how the wheels are constructed a little wider than stock and less backspacing
