Aaawww. My daughter rescued a female raccoon. I kept her as long as I could. My family made me feel so bad about her being inside. Finally I weathered her with a game warden and her new home was a boy scout camp. Truly I regret not keeping her. She was my baby. Thanks for sharing your little girl with us. Raccoons are experts at REPURPOSING everything in the house. What we call dresser drawers they use as bunk beds. Our pillows become their presents just waiting to be unwrapped. And while Biscuits may not be able to assemble a jigsaw puzzle, she sure can dump it out of the box!

I love the rescues like this but I hate where the animal is clearly obese, and these lovely rescuers will lose them that much sooner.
I came here to say this. Bisquit is adorable and her parents clearly love her, but Bisquit would live even longer if she wasn't so big. I wish them all well.

The vet is not concerned with her weight. She goes out several times a day. We try to limit snacks but hangry raccoons are not easy to deal with. Thank you for your concern.
