If they leave CA it should be illegal for them to operate in any other state. They take your money for years and in an actual time of need they flee
Yeah this shits ridiculous what the fuck
Illegal to interfere with interstate commerce
I’m guessing you have a “Free Palestinian” flag on your house.
@@eze2190so you are saying that you’re cool with paying for service that you never receive
You get what you vote for.
We deregulated much of the insurance industry back in the 1990s. Corporate greed and corruption are behind this, not anything remotely resembling integrity or honesty. You forget the corruption of the Republican insurance commissioner years ago who took bribes .
insurance companies are leaving florida and texas too and they are red. you get what you vote for right?
No just YOU!
I own a couple homes in Texas and nope no issues with insurance. I don’t know about Florida. Imperial Beach my home insurance is fine.
Never had an issue in Texas
😂😂😂😂
Florida yes. Texas, not so much. It’s all about states trying to control prices. State politicians demand insurers maintain billions in policyholders protection funds so they are solvent during major disasters and then publicly abuse them for having funds available to pay for massive disasters like Florida and California have. Why do you think State Farm has a separate company for California and Florida and their main company that insures the other 48 states???
I don't blame them I'd leave too
I guess you forgot about the last republican insurance commissioner in California Chuck Quackenbush. He had to resign because it was revealed he was taking bribes. In early 2000, Cindy Ossias, then a senior lawyer for the California Department of Insurance (CDI), charged the Department with corruption. According to testimony by CDI employees, including Ossias and staff attorney Robert Hagedorn, Commissioner Quackenbush and his top aides abused their positions for personal gain and acted against consumers' interests for many years. Quackenbush fled to Hawaii and never went to jail as he should have.
"Im done, I want to leave"
California "you can't leave! That's racist!"
Insurance companies are leaving Florida and Texas as well..
So you side with insurance company robber barons over your fellow working class citizens. Brilliant. You know ZERO about corporate insurance corruption. I worked in the industry for YEARS. These guys would pimp out their own grannies for a buck; they are not your friends. Don’t protect their chicanery.
They are in business to make windfall profits.
They are not there out of the goodness of their hearts or a desire to help people.
When is the last time you heard of an insurance company going bankrupt. They just raise rates to cover themselves !

Politicians fighting insurance companies. LOL, what are they going to do, slap fight?
Insurance is about claim denials and rejection..they’re not in for comforting families to feel proud about being protected..let them leave
All of the anti-government right wingers who seem to want to coddle corporate thieves forget about the cautionary tale of Republican California insurance commissioner Chuck Quackenbush. He and his cronies were entirely on the take with bribes. He moved to Hawaii and somehow avoided prison time.

More regulation is not a solution
Part of the problem and all the other Woke Liberal Democrat policies!
The California insurance market was greatly deregulated in the 1990s. You forget the last really corrupt California insurance commissioner, republican Chuck Quackenbush. According to testimony by CDI employees, including Ossias and staff attorney Robert Hagedorn, Commissioner Quackenbush and his top aides abused their positions for personal gain and acted against consumers' interests for many years. How is this going to work??
Why don't they play the open mic they have on an insurance lobbyist.
So are a lot of people and they have been leaving in packs for a decade plus. Shalom
You should educate yourself about Republican California insurance commissioner truck Quackenbush. He was caught taking bribes. He either moved or fled to Hawaii to avoid prison time.
Maybe they no that the weather is manipulated with by the powers that be.😊
Amen
Insurance companies don't want to pay claims for natural disasters like wildfires, earthquakes, tornados, or hurricanes. They're leaving both red and blue states. This really should not be a partisan issue. But we can't have nice things.
The pro billionaire corporate media have convinced many Americans that government regulations are evil even though we tried laissez-faire capitalism before and we got screwed. They also forget the last really corrupt California insurance commissioner Chuck Quackenbush who it was revealed was basically taking bribes. He moved to Hawaii and avoided prison time. He was a Republican.

How is this legal? ? Do they notify me before I’m dropped?
Legal in California? Depends! Thats the problem.
Yes. You get at least a 45 day notice. You’re only dropped at renewal
@@eze2190 thank you very much. I live in San Diego, county and a few of my friends have had their premiums skyrocket. Most of them are elderly people and can’t afford to pay such enormous amounts. Thanks again.
Legal is whatever a bunch of hack assed politicians say is legal!
Good riddance scammers
Good! All companies, human law abiding citizens should leave California! Liberal, Woke, Democrat policies have ruined a once Great State! Lived 40 yrs left last year Sad to go but necessary!

I worked in California insurance for years. The directors of these insurance companies are corporate thieves driven by greed. For you to blame their victims is really monstrous.
CA is expensive bc everyone wants to live here. It’s called capitalism and competition, both Republican virtues. If you can’t make it in CA, then off to Texas you go where it’s hot but cheap.
Democrat have ruined CA and the entire nation. The cost of everything has skyrocketed since Biden got elected
Yeah it’s not the same what it used to be
Oh! Texas is terrible. You don’t want to live there. Stay away! It’s especially bad for people from Cali. Stay away for your sake.
Elon Musk can afford to live in CA but moved to TX
@@kalecale he did it for the taxes
