This was my first time seeing Umpree's and I WAS BLOWN AWAY like every 5 minutes, seriously!
You guys truly have an unworldly talent and sound.
I don't think I've ever been this impressed by a show in my entire life.
Big shout out to Tanner and Jeremy for killing it on the drums!
I play both drums and guitar so the deep appreciation I found for those was well founded.
I also found the lighting to be incredible, as anyone can see watching this!
Mishawaka is an amazing venue and perfect place to be introduced to your incredible sounds.

The guy who got me playing guitar back when we were 13 (I'm 36 now) also showed me these guys when I was in my early 20s. Umphreys has been a HUGE influence on my guitar playing and my overall growth as a musician. When my back is against the wall and I'm pressed to answer the infamous "favorite band" question I have my answer ready. They are like a musical circus. So much going on and so many different styles explored in one show. The definition of no boundaries and doing for the love of the music. It's time I start a band again. It's been since 2013. Spent the time since then doing solo studio work, acoustic stuff and recording in general. I live in Dayton, Ohio. Home of The Werks and a great history of amazing musicians. Ohio Players, Zapp, Slave, Lakeside...all amazing funk groups that made their mark. The Werks are the current heavy hitter locally. Grew up with those dudes doing their thing around here. Umphreys has headlined the festival the Werks throw every year. Werkout Music and Arts Festival. You should get my contact info and come to the festival next summer man!

Yea, man. I have been an avid listener and have appreciated Umphreys since my early 20s. Probably been at least 16 or 17 years since I've listened to them. I told another dude here in the comments all about how influential the band has been on me as a musician, and as a guitar player specifically, Jake and Brenden have been a great stylistic influence. They are an absolute blast live, and the whole scene surrounding not only Umphreys but also the modern jam scene in general is so uplifting. For many, their first show or festival is truly life changing. They open up entire new paradigms of thought, living, and are incredibly freeing to your soul.
so. much raw talent on one stage…. brendan bayliss & co, if you want another treat, go see them play crazy diamond it’s difficult . no one can do live music as well as Um. no one even comes close
