WordPress Advanced Custom Fields for Beginners (Step by Step Tutorial)

In this WordPress Advanced Custom Fields basics video I'll be teaching you step by step how to install the ACF plugin, add a custom field group, add a custom text field, and display it on the backend and frontend of your Wordpress Website.
I will show you how to display these fields using a shortcode (with no PHP coding necessary) and also how to display the custom fields by editing your theme template files.
This is only part 1 in this series, there will be more advanced lessons and wordpress website project to come on using advanced custom fields as the backbone.

It would likely be page.php that you would want to add the code to, but it may vary depending on your theme, or if the page you are adding on
to has a custom template assigned to it.

I am not familiar with that theme (I mostly create custom ones) but ACF can work with any theme. Where you would need to actually add code to use the fields may differ though, depending on how the theme is built.
