My training was canceled at KLNS on 7/2 so i went to KLOM and had my first 2 lessons in a Tecnam p2008. Now the Tecnam is being sold and the flight school doesn't have another LSA 😩, i only want a sport pilot certificate. I can try to get some hours in a brand new piper pa-28-181 and solo at KLNS in a Bristell. The trip from my home to KLNS is 2 hours drive each way that's why i didn't go back after being canceled. Are there any LSA clubs around any other schools besides Lock Haven, PA i saw the website. Lol Anyway i hope all is well. Thanks!
@@PilotLife215 Hi, I'm moving along and have my checkride scheduled for August. KLNS is a really good flight school, and lessons get cancelled at any school for various reasons, especially weather. Before switching to KLNS I took lessons at KXLL in an Evektor Sportstar but my instructor left for a full-time flying position. You can try contacting them, they may have another instructor now. The only other LSA program I know is Lock Haven which is probably too far from you.

I was getting checked out by Shane to rent one in Oct. It was very nice to fly. Need to get back up in Dec after hunting season.
What's the current hourly rental rate? Last time I flew in August it was $185 an hour plus tax = $196.10
