A small price of 12,000 dollars! What a beautiful camera.
quality of your videos is unmatched on CZcams. best photography channel hands down.
Appreciate it 🙏🏻
Bro. Now I want to buy both cameras haha. Great work. Beautiful color grade as well.
Followed the same path . Xpan was my favorite camera of all time . Even the horizon was a creative tool , you always had a surprise .
Thanks for making this video, like others said quality of it is unmatched on CZcams. Great work!
I got lucky with my Horizon; no light leaks at all. It came with me to my holiday to England last month along with my Leica M5. Four of the sixteen rolls were on the Horizon and I had an absolute blast shooting with it. Shot mostly HP5+ throughout the trip. +1 new subscriber here. Great content!
I think with a place like HK, a panoramic camera makes so much sense. Some stunning shots from Anson and yourself!
Thanks man 👊🏻
I enjoyed every second of this video. Your sense for storytelling and pairing it with visuals are out of this world. Despite the light leak and little quirks of the camera, the images with the horizon turned out beautifully. Thanks for continuing to inspire, Ivan!
Thank you Karin 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Criminally underrated! mhm!
🙏🏻
Info was great, photos were great but I enjoyed seeing so much of Hong Kong the most. This was definitely the best way to show the city. 👏👏
Great video & images man!
Thanks!
Wow..is really nice photos and many thanks for introducing both camrea.
Thank you so much for your videos man, so inspiring as always, and the bonus of warming vibes of Anson's and your panoramic pictures. Much needed on my cold windy winter here, made me missed going back to Asia.
Appreciate it man 🙏🏻
Beautiful vistas of Hong Kong with the panos!
Very interesting video. I've always liked panoramics. A suggestion for digital camera users would be to shoot with a wide or very wide angle lens and use 16x9 aspect ratio that you can choose in camera (pay attention to frame lines in the viewfinder when shooting) or in Lightroom in post processing. The technique provides a very nice perspective in my opinion.
👏👏👏 great video :)
Thank you!
I have one of these Horizon 202. It's a super fun camera to take out and shoot. Great looking video btw. Definitely a channel for me to aspire towards.
Excellent video on yr new toy.
Awesome video 😎👍
🙏🏻🙏🏻
This was awesome, Ivan. So inspiring! Hong Kong still got it!!!😍
Thank you!
Boy oh boy if you want an experience and challenge while shooting film... venturing into instant film did that for me and it's been pretty magical
It’s on the list 💸💸💸
BROOOOO OMG YOUR VIDEOS ARE TOO GOOD!!!!!!!!
Beautiful shots from both of you, looking forward to heading back to HK one day.
Hope I’m here to show you around!
@@ivunchow It's looking like it might be a 2023 trip. So here's hoping!
I don't know what it is, but I just love viewing the world through this aspect ratio. It just feels so right but also so excited at the same time. I've often thought about buying an x-pan, but just can't justify the cost of film, etc.
A lot of people say that about panoramas cause if you think about it, that’s really what we’re seeing. Not 50, 35 or 21 etc.
would love to see more videos in Hong Kong mate. these are next level videos . well done ❤
🙏🏻 thank you!
I don't exactly see, why the Horizon is a "toy camera". I absolutely see your points and the limitations it brings, but the images are very sharp and are honestly very similiar to the x-pan.
Wow, amazing cameras, but I'm curious how you got that beautiful color palette in your video?
Thank you for your video!
What kind of LUT for video do you use? It's gorgeous!
Love your video , but why not put new light seals in your Horizon 202??
This is brilliant! Also did you shoot (most) video footage on 28mm? It feels much wider, or is that because you cropped the top and bottom?
Shot most of the shots at 24 I think. Black bars do help with the wide look.
there's a film plane hack you can use on the horizon to improve the minimum focus distance which really opens up the potential of the brighter apertures at the cost of infinity focus. i love the 202 for all of its quirkiness. definitely fun to shoot and perfect for street scenes. if you wanted more reliability in 35mm pano, you can still pick up the widelux f7 or f8 for reasonable prices. for me, the xpan has gotten to be too expensive. at this point, if i wanted something uber reliable, i'd just shoot medium format and crop to pano. it'd still be cheaper and more reliable than the xpan and has the advantage of being able to adjust the crop to taste. however, i still prefer the horizon for the fun of it.
Yea I def need to look into that hack
Hi Ivan!好鐘意你的視頻,以及各種觀點啟發分享,本期以及 「135mm for Street Photography?」的調色十分迷人👍,請問會出LUT麼?我想會第一時間購買,Thank you!
Hi!Ivan,謝謝!由於telegram找不到你提供的賬號,所以冒昧在INS聯繫你了,喜歡你的作品,希望越走越遠!
When 8x10 street photography?
there's gotta be a way to fix the light leaks no?
Come on! Wearing a mask outdoors while doing a video, just ridiculous at this point.
It’s the law in HK. Enjoy your freedom wherever you are 👍🏻
@@ivunchow Florida, my apologies didn’t think this stupidity was left anywhere.
@@ivunchow Exactly.
I wanted to watch for longer but seeing those absurd masks I just couldn't/
It’s against the law to not wear one here
