As someone who followed the No Man's Sky controversies back in the day I'm genuinely impressed by how much the game has changed for the better despite all the criticism it received early on
I’ve been playing it and really enjoying it the last few days. The game is now beautiful, and there’s a decent amount to unlock. The main complaint I have is that I don’t really feel like I’m working towards anything. That makes it difficult to feel motivated, but I’ve still been enjoying it
Not Motivated?... Set yourself some goals. Collect up to 12 personal ships. Go for S class. Get a living ship then upgrade it. Get a Freighter then swap it for a Sentinal Freighter. Interact with the Autophage and do missions for them. Travel to the center of the galaxy, after all, this is one of over 250. Do an Expedition or three. Look for Rare pets and then genetically modify them. Build some weird looking base. These are but a few things to do I've nearly 6400hrs and I'm still motivated. 😀
@@freewheelinfranklin6201 I have been doing a lot of playing recently, no where near where you are. I was quite sick recently so have been grinding! I will take what you said into consideration when I launch the game for my daily play :)

NMS had ended up as one of those games that I keep coming back to every few months. It's a great chill out game.

Very true, I felt the same way playing a bit off screen. But still had tons of fun :)
