Football, as we all know, is such a beautiful game. Since the first football game was played centuries ago, our beautiful game has evolved so much, becoming even more beautiful. And guess what? Over the next few years, it'll evolve even more. And you can bet that we'd see the input of more technology into the game.
Today, we'll be talking about a few technological additions we might be seeing in the future.
First off, body cameras on footballers.
If you've ever been curious about what the players see when they run around on the field and what they say, then this technology might be for you. Yep, that's right. With the new body cams, you'd be able to have a somewhat first-hand experience of the game from the players' points of view. Pretty cool, right?
Of course, this was already tested a few months ago during a preseason game between Aston Villa and Newcastle. In that game, Youri Tielemans and Bruno Guimaraes got mic'd up. And I must say, the sights and sounds from those clips were quite fun to watch. For now, those mics aren't yet allowed in competitive games. But if things go according to plan, then we might just have to get used to seeing those clips regularly in the biggest football competitions.
And it's fine if you don't want that one, though.

But it's actually sad the amount of corruption and money in the Beautiful Game. It's so financial so the gap between small and big teams just continues to grow, making less competitive snd more predictable competitions.
Football is getting futuristic. I can't believe how this world looks so much different compared 20 years ago when I was a kid. First having a kodak camera makes you a cool kid and now this.
